Grizzlies-Nuggets Deal: Is Mike Conley Heading To The Denver Nuggets?

This is a bad trade. First, why Memphis would part with Conley (a top 5 draft pick) for Camby (a 34 year old center) and one of Denver's future first round picks is beyond me. Denver's chances of landing in the lottery in the next couple of years are even money, and even if Denver is a lottery team, they're probably one of the last picks. Denver would jump at the chance to get a solid young PG in Conley, but I don't think Memphis is stupid enough to give someone away again...

Finally, point of procedure, Walker isn't a "shoot the lights out" player. He's streaky when he's hot, a chucker when he's not. His career 3pt percentage is about 32%. Not too good for a guy that takes every open look he gets.

If Camby is to be traded, he's much more likely to move to NJ for the Van Horn contract + pieces. That would save Denver a lot of money.
