L.A. BOOM!

By now you've heard the great news - Baron Davis verbally agreed to a 5 year deal with the Clippers worth an estimated $65 million. This coming less than 24 hours after he shocked Warriors fans when he opted out of a contract that would have brought him a little more than $17 million next year.

Sorry, Warrior fans. But honestly, this probably worked out for the best. The Dubs still need to extend guys like Monta, and Baron's contract made it extremely difficult for management to make any roster improvements. If the Warriors ended up extending Baron's contract, they'd only find themselves deeper in the hole. Now with Baron out of the Bay Area, they've got some breathing room, and they still keep a young core of Monta Ellis - Marco Bellinelli - Al Harrington, not to mention second-year forward Brandan Wright and rookie Anthony Randolph. Who knows? It might seem like a longshot, but maybe they'll find themselves in position to make a play for someone like LeBron James or Dwyane Wade when they hit free agency. more...

Yeah, I know, my photoshop skills leave a lot to be desired. But you get the point.

hahahah hybridization of a clippers and warriors jersey, reminds me of the Superbowl between Giants and Ravens in which the rapper Nelly wore half a Giants Jersey and Ravens jersey. Sadly enough that fashion trend isnt with us anymore. bUt congrats for getting Baron...im a laugh if Clips get Horry and Cassell.

ugh, Horry and Cassell. That would be just like Clipper management though, get our hopes up right before they land a big crap bomb on us

Golden State Management is pretty bad (check out my article on GS always letting the good players go) as are my Knickerbockers....Clippers arent that bad, any team that goes after Cassell knows they getting the most out of world player ever who pushes off on every fallaway jumper and shoots the rock whenever he touches it...Horry on the other hand was such a joke on SPurs this past year , let alone the year b4 decking Steve Nash... If Cassell and Horry join Clippers they just doing them and joining the most qualified team to win a chamionshjip and they have no part in contrubuting as well. Horry and Cassell probably got this 6th sense ever since they were on the ROckets back in 94 to see what team has best chance in winning. IDK ...only time will tell where ET and Carlton Banks land...But Clippers need a bench if anything, dont ever trust Tim Thomas as talented as he is.....

enjoy our seconds...

Thank you, sir!

LOL @ you photoshop skills...hey they are better than mines. But if (yes I said if cuz im still holding on to a little bit of hope that this aint true) it is true then this does leave room for players like Monta, Marco, Al Brandan, and others to step and prove that the Dubs arent just a one man team. But the Clippers are starting to like a possible threat with the way their roster is shapping up!

Found a pic of Baron Davis on the Clippers.

Nice work - that's a lot better than my photoshop disaster. I'm even starting to get negatives for it - harsh crowd.

Great news my arse! BOO!

Sorry - but at least you got the best years out of him.
