Not That Anyone Cares, But Pistons Advance To Eastern Finals

Wow, this is Detroit's 6th straight conference final in by far the least dramatic series in the playoffs. Jameer Nelson couldn't quite come through on his guarantee even though the Pistons played without Chauncey Billups. I think we could say Detroit has a conference dynasty in their hands.

I remember the last time someone guaranteed something against the Pistons. It ended in the same fashion. Next team, please.

What's worse...watching the Pistons? Or watching the Spurs? Personally I'd rather watch the NBA Summer League than either of them. Especially if they're playing each other.

Must be some reason they keep winning titles though, huh? I like watching good defensive teams. It's usually the good defenses that win the titles lately anyway.

I don't find the Pistons all that boring.

Well both teams have won a championship in this era........ Oh I guess u like watchin the flash and all the high scoring and showtime razzle dazzle dunks from teams like the Sun,Mavericks and Warriors, Oh they haven't won anything ever...

Lol Lol LOl now thats funny. True but funny!!!! It would be nice to have all that "razzle dazzle" on the Pistons team but I like them with out all that, anyway watching Tayshaun Prince throw a block party is just fine.

Anyone remember "Showtime" and the Lakers of the 80's? Remember when the NBA playoffs were exciting and not a referee controlled free throw shooting exhibition. I love defense, but what Bruce Bowen plays isn't it. The Pistons are much easier to watch now without Ben Wallace, but still offer little excitement. Not to mention their annoying "Detroit Basketball" sound bite after turnovers...I'd rather see Boston play LA or Cleveland play New Orleans.

I think a lot of people care that Detroit is in the ECF. Just because you're a fan of a team that the Pistons are better than doesn't mean that "nobody cares." Because they're there every year should make it even better, that a team can maintain such competitiveness while other ex-decent teams like the Suns and Heat get taken apart and fail right before our eyes.

I didn't mean that I don't care, but it just seems this series is getting no national love. Especially given no one gave the Magic a shot in the first place. I actually like the Pistons, they are somewhat boring but I love Sheed, Rip, Tayshaun, and Chauncey. They're in my top 5 favorite teams in the league or around my 5.

I see the Pistons playing the Celtics in the ECF.
