as soon as you start, you'll easily be in my top 5 favorite players in the entire league. your combination of amazing skills and great personality simply make it impossible to not like you. as im sure you've heard thousands of times by now, keep your head straight and in the right place - no matter what. the last thing you want is to turn out like mike vick. keep on scouting all those players and bring every ounce of domination that you have inside of you every single day. not just games, not just practice, but every aspect of your life. we all know that you have the talent, the potential, and the size. you just need to bring your A-Game and you'll be on the path to becoming one of the great centers of all time and you will walk into the Hall of Fame. keep it up Oden. if theres anything i hate in sports, its seeing players with potential like you not trying their best day in and day out.

Watching and learning.....thats wonderful and all, but I know that you are so ready to get out there and play! I hope the rest of your recovery goes well.

awww... you and josh... on the sidelines lol
Just keep working hard and u will be on the court soon1

Everytime I see you working out getting that knee up to shape I hear in my head Rick Ross - Hustlin.

Cant wait to see you bring the thunder. Thanks for hitting us up with the video

Can't wait to see you match up against Dwight Howard and Amare Stoudemire, Greg. And all those little guards that are driving the lane on the blazers this year will get to meet you, in person, next year. Just keep watching and learning, big man!

hey Greg i've seen you on the sidelines cheering the team on and i think its cool. i can't wait for you to come back on the court but i'm glad your taking it easy. Josh sorta looks like he has a mullet but i cant say anything cause we got the same type. I've notice your starting to grow out your hair like a afro and tell you the truth it looks pretty cool. thanks for posting keep it up

Josh shaved his head

So I have a question that I have been asking all season long that I haven't managed to have answered yet...so if ANYONE has the answer...please share.

Obviously, this is Greg's rookie year... but since he isn't able to play this season, does that mean he'll never be eligible to win rookie of the year? If that's the case, someone needs to get through to Stern and have some rules changed.

Can't wait to have you back Greg!

Next year will be his rookie year and he will be eligible for ROY. confirmed by Jason Quick of the Oregonian.

Are you sure? when did Jason Quick say that?

It was way back right when the season started and i believe Marc Stein confirmed it too

Greg which arena has been your favorite so far (besides the RG)?

Greg, this is all you need to know my friend.

And yes, a man who married his college cheerleader girlfriend can still be pimptastic.

Which is more valuable, bonding with the team on the roadtrip or watching the games courtside? I mean, you an get the same kind of opponent info from film, right?

kind of, if you think about the different angles from the point of views and also what the film doesnt show its pretty different.

It is so hard to watch people play basketball and not be out there, I'm not even a pro hooper and I know that. I give you props for hanging in there an maintaining a positive attitude so far this season. That takes a big man...well you know what I mean.

Greg,
Thanks for keeping us posted on your activities. I was just wondering whether your teammates are putting you through the usual rookie hazing rituals this year, or whether you have that to look forward to for next year.
Mark

i heard you were at the Lupe Fiasco show...i hope you werent out there jumpin up and down when he started playing Superstar with everyone else.
keep ya head up and make sure you bring it next year.

I can just imagine how tough it is for you to have to sit and watch, whether the Blazers win or lose, but at least you are making good use of your time.

Saw you briefly at Big Al's last Friday. Just seen your back as you walk to the stage to leave. I heard you were playing Guitar Hero. You have a good time? I was hoping to meet you, but still had a great time.

GO BLAZERS!

Michael

It means a great deal to both your fans and your teammates that you have such a positive outlook and strong work ethic.

The fact that you are there for the team and to learn says alot about you! You could be all about being there just to be seen but you take a whole different approach by being focused on the game and your teammates. That puts you in the game more than you realize and explains why you have non-stop support from family, friends, and fans. Grandpa said "keep up the good work boi! and remember the things we talked about" He's very proud of you. Grandma said "hey baby! Im trying hard not to buy that many shoes but its not working out to well." you know she aint trying hard. LOL. We love you bunches! Keep up the good work. 716 Boooooyyyyyyeeee! haha.

cant wait for next years lineup, brandon, martell,LA,JJ and you = crazyness

Greg, who's the best center in the NBA to you and is that your goal!
P.S. Im a big Blazers fan and Im glad you are a blazer, also do you think they will let you play this summer.

Greg do you play xbox 360? what games? and do you play on live?

You know, Greg. Tonight in boston should be some interesting notes. Is there a way that we could maybe get your thoughts on boston? You know, I woud have rather watched tonights game between blazers and celtics on espn than the blazers vs hat ridy night. Go Blazers! Beat Boston!

Love ya Greg. Keep up the hard work dawg.

man, i was sitting across the court from you at the celtics game tonight, and i am stunned at how much bulkier you seem from a year ago . huge difference. portland is already a force to be reckoned with, i'm getting worried already!

wtf?

get out of here tramp this site's for sports fans not for you to whore yourself out trick.
Anyways good video Greg looks like Jays been workin ya hard, keep it up pimpin.

Come on man, nanawong2000 is most definitely a fat, middle aged man posing as, and selling pictures of a tramp.
He's the dictionary definition of "pimpin"...

When you're back dunk in KG's face so i can have a "slamadamonth" poster of him being dunked on...

honestly, greg, tell us how cool steve blake is. very cool, right? at least cooler than mcroberts, right?

He's cool enough that I figured out where Photoshop hides on my computer.

One more time.

Greg,
After watching the Celtics game the other night, I need to ask a favor of you. Would you please cut out a picture of Kevin Garnett and tape it to a punching bag so you can get ready to shove his face in the hardwood. Man that guy needs to learn some manners and you are the guy to teach him. GRRRR!
GO Blazers

Yeah Greg. KG is in serious need of a GO imprint on his chops. A little humble pie ala Oden.
But I have a hunch he'll be feeling it plenty from the 12 hard fouls he'll potentially recieve at the hands of LaMarcus and Joel when he has to go play in Portland.

So tell me have Travis and Rebecca the sideline reporter hooked up? She called him Trav... and he always seems a little nervous and smiley around her... Or is Travis just a nervous goofy kind of guy that isn't good with the ladies?

Greg what do you think is more important, bringing your A game, or giving 100%?

GO -
This comment may be (is) off topic, but model of shoes does B-Roy rock? I can't seem to find them. Anyone else know this?
On a post-related note - I think it's great that you make road trips with the squad. Getting used to the daily grind of the road - sleeping/eating at odd hours of the day and all the other psychological aspects of it may be as beneficial as watching the other big men and future opponents. Keep it up, man.

Greg how do you get along with Raef Lafrentz? Could you give Raef a little more play in your blogs!

Happy birthday,Greg! :-)

AHHH yea Greg is no longer a teenager!! happy bday!

Hi Greg,
I think the trip you guys took to see Dr. King's birthplace was awesome.
You know, we all read and heard about MLK in school, and we know he was special with his many intellectual gifts and his exceptional courage. But visiting some of the real spaces where the man went about his day to day really helps make it more real.
It was nice seeing you and your mates get into that.
I liked the photo of all you guys listening to the man at the YMCA -- every one of you looked like you were attending to what the man was sharing. That was cool to see, man.
I think you are destined for greatness. I think you are involved with some very special young men on that Blazer team.
My heart smiles for the great moments you all are sure to experience.
From out here in fan-land, it looks like they are ramping up to you.
By that I mean, it's like they are making themselves truly worthy of you.
All things considered, I can't help but think "this year" is really a blessing.
I hope you learn to love Oregon -- I've traveled the world and it is my favorite of all places.
As a native, I welcome you to Oregon and hope you make it your own.
Peace and Love

Happy Birthday Greg! Can't wait to see you play!

Happy 20th Birthday Greg! From a proud Blazer season ticket holder named Winston

happy birthday Oden.Dont party too hard

Happy birthday!

I suspect you will spend plenty of time reviewing film and watching them in person this season. I can only imagine how bad it must suck to watch from the sidelines at times when you know your team could use a larger paint presence during some of their games this year. Anyway, welcome to Portland (Vancouver blazer fan here) and hope to see you up and doing some serious training with a ball in your hands soon.
Vancouverfan

happy birthday greg. hope all is well in hot-lanta. beat NO and then we cant wait for you to come back to p-town and start beating peeps in the rose garden so we can see you fellas in person.
