Pauerful trade possibilities from Chris Sheridan

If you don't have Insider, Chris Sheridan breaks down 6 possible trade scenarios for the the Grizzlies' lone All-Star. He actually breaks down 9, but a few of them are completely asinine and I won't waste your time or insult your intelligence by repeating them here:

Here's a recap, in decreasing order of probablity, of the few plausible scenarios:

Bulls: Gasol for P.J. Brown (expiring contract), Ben Gordon and Knicks' first round pick (from the Curry trade)

Nets: Gasol and Chucky Atkins for Vince Carter, Marcus Williams and first round pick

Lakers: Gasol and Atkins for Kwame, Bynum, Farmar, Aaron McKie and first round pick

Celtics: Gasol for Al Jefferson, Delonte West and Theo Ratliff

Pacers: Gasol, Mike MIller and Atkins for Jermaine O'Neal and Jamaal Tinsley

I think the Nets deal is intriguing...Gasol would fit in nicely for the injured Krstic, and the two of them could be a formidable front line in the East. It would be a testament to the Nets faith in Richard Jefferson, despite his health concerns. And Carter would be able to put up 30 a game and piss off Mike Miller in the process. Everyone wins there.
