The Real Most Underrated Dunk Ever

Yeah the Ronnie Price dunk was amazing. But before Ronnie Price was on the Kings, we had some guy on the team a few years ago. What was his name again? Oh yeah, GERALD WALLACE! This dunk is way better than Ronnie Price's and is way above the rim, and barely anyone's probably even heard of it!

By the way, I met this guy at a Wal-Mart near Arco Arena during the Playoffs against Dallas a few years ago. He's huge! Some lady ripped open an unpaid camera and took a picture of him.

Wrong you are pal. First this is a fast break, which means Mr. Wallace was traveling at a high speed which allowed him to use it to his advantage to propell him high. But then again, Mr. Wallace is 6'7 and dunked on some no name white guy who was falling under the basket. I will give him props for having a sweet dunk, but come on. Ronnie Price is 6'2 and flew from the baseline with about ten feet of running room. With only that, he flew sideways and dunked over Carlos Freaking Boozer. Besides, everybody who watches basketball knows who Gerald Wallace is, not too many know Ronnie.

You raise some great points, but...

"...was traveling at a high speed which allowed him to use it to his advantage to propel him high."

...horizontal speed doesn't really have much to do with your vertical.

A running start helps, but a slow running start vs. a fast running start? I don't really think it makes much of a difference. Then again, I'm 5'11" and only once in my life have I touched the rim (barely) and that was probably a dozen years ago, ha.

Watch when Jordan dunks from the free throw line were he jumps from. Wallace jumps from really far out, but is running at full speed, and trust me that helps. Watch Tom Chambers dunk againts the Knicks if you don't believe me. Anyways, I think both dunks are awesome, so I will not argue my point anymore. I love basketball, and these guys are the reason...

isn't that a charge? he was moving but his feet weren't.

I like Rockets,wow gold

One of Wallace's many sick dunks. That was fearless.

that kind of dunk will end a career.

you got that right. DAMN!

would you like some crumpets with your tea white boy?
