LIST: The Undrafted Free Agent's Official NBA Mock Draft 2008

I know you have been waiting months for this list.

  • 1
    Derrick Rose

As a Bulls fan, I will be happy with either Rose or Beasley. However, I prefer Rose. A premium is placed on talented point guards capable of elevating the play of their teammates. That is what Rose will be. On the other hand, how often do you see an undersized tweener lead his team to the Finals?

  • 2
    Michael Beasley

Character be damned! Even if Miami trades Beasley, they have to at least draft him.

  • 3
    O.J. Mayo

The Timberwolves need a legitimate big man to play next to Al Jefferson. Are they willing to pass up an O.J. Mayo? He may not have lived up to the hype, but is still extremely talented. A guard rotation of Mayo with Randy Foye and Rashad McCants would good.

  • 4
    Jerryd Bayless

Kevin Durant needs some help scoring the ball. Jerryd Bayless, if he does nothing else, can score.

  • 5
    Kevin Love

Looking at the Grizzlies depth chart, their big man rotation features Hakim Warrick (a nice player), Kwame Brown ("nuff said"), Darko Milicic ("nuff said"), and Jason Collins (who is taking ineptitude to a whole new level). To say they need help upfront might be an understatement. A big one.

  • 6
    Brook Lopez

Eddy Curry is garbage. Zach Randolph is being shopped around. Brook Lopez would bring scoring without the baggage the other two carry along.

  • 7
    Russell Westbrook

They need a guard. Russell Westbrook is my best available.

  • 8
    Eric Gordon

Does Eric Gordon fit in Milwaukee? He would be pretty good in a sixth man role, if nothing else. Wait, I just remembered they have future Hall of Famer and record-breaker Ramon Sessions. I guess the Bucks traded this pick or something like that.

  • 9
    Joe Alexander

The Bobcats need a big man, but I wouldn't be very fond of the leftovers. So, Joe Alexander has the athleticism and versatility to work with Gerald Wallace to fill the minutes at the 3 or 4. That will be key if Adam Morrison ever pans out.

  • 10
    Danilo Gallinari

Danilo is a great value at this point. Take him.

  • 11
    D.J. Augustin

The Pacers have nobody reliable at the point guard position. Augustin will be a solid NBA player.

  • 12
    Anthony Randolph

The Kings have a boatload of wings as things are. I guess they can go with Anthony Randolph. I wouldn't, but I wouldn't have touched Sene until the second round, either.

  • 13
    Brandon Rush

Rush is just a polished, polished player. Who wouldn't want him? (That's a rhetorical question.) Good, because any team could wind up with this pick, it seems.

  • 14
    DeAndre Jordan

Like Randolph, I wouldn't even think about drafting DeAndre Jordan. Yet, every draft, people like Jordan creep up board. I guess size and athleticism will do that for a guy.
