Warriors sign Ronny Turiaf

The Golden State Warriors have signed former Laker Ronny Turiaf to a 4 year- 17 million dollar contract. Turiaf was a restricted free agent and had signed an offer sheet 7-days ago. The Lakers had those 7 days to match the offer, but no luck. The deal has officially been finalized Ronny has averaged 5.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.2 assists, 1.13 blocks and 15.6 minutes in 173 regular-season games with the Lakers in his 3 years in the NBA, and hopfully he will make an impact on the Warriors. Turiaf will be wearing number 21!!! Good luck Ronny!

Whyyyyyyyyyyy? I dont understand this.....something about his signing as red flags all over it to me!

prob cause they're going to trade harrington for a pg then they won't have anyone on the team over 150lbs. I am ok with it. I love Harrington but he was getting to quick with those 3's. Plus Turiaf has those great sideline dances.

because no one on the warriors can rebound or play post defense, you get some1 off the bench that can defend the post and get rebounds. he also can take some fouls away from biedrins who seems to be in foul trouble every game. its a smart move, even if they dont trade harrington and its even smarter if they do what GSgirls said they might do.

I like the Harrington for Billups. But i dont want Biedrins.Plus, if the trade goes through detroit needs a little bit more for the trade.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

the only reason harrington was quick with the 3's, was because thats all nellie told him to do. I welcome turiaf with open arms, but anything he got was cause he was playin with kobe. anybody looks good playin with kobe. All i can say is that i cant wait for Marco to kill behind the 3. As a matter of fact, why not just have Marco play point?

I hear ya on Harrington. I know 3's are Nellies mandate - but the shot selection was a little reckless - you gotta give me that. I would love to see what Marco can do during the regular season. In the meantime I won't be comfortable until they get a proven pg.

if turiaf gets more playing time, i think he can be a solid player with daily double doubles and a good defensive stopper. he also has A LOT of energy

Yea ohkay, i'l give that to you.
