Blazers star Damian Lillard rips ESPN's Dan Orlovsky for 'entitled' comments

Former NFL quarterback and current ESPN football analyst Dan Orlovsky learned if he wants to go after Portland Trail Blazers guard Damian Lillard, he best not miss.

Lillard made headlines on Tuesday when he told Yahoo Sports he didn't want to return to NBA action amid the coronavirus pandemic if the ninth-place Trail Blazers were merely going through the motions and didn't have a chance to make the postseason:

"If we come back and they're just like, 'We're adding a few games to finish the regular season,' and they're throwing us out there for meaningless games and we don't have a true opportunity to get into the playoffs, I'm going to be with my team because I'm a part of the team. But I'm not going to be participating," Lillard said. "I'm telling you that right now. And you can put that (expletive) in there."

As Peter Socotch of NBC Sports Northwest reported, Orlovsky hit out at Lillard's comments during Wednesday's edition of ESPN's "Get Up" program and said the guard came off as "a spoiled and entitled brat."

FS1's Skip Bayless also criticized Lillard, who heard those comments and responded via Twitter:

"I said what I said," Lillard retorted, along with other choice words for Orlovsky.

Lillard went on to mock the fact Orlovsky appeared in only 27 regular-season NFL games:

Even an apology from Orlovsky didn't soften Lillard's responses to Orlovsky or Bayless:

We score this round 10-8 in favor of Dame.
