NBA Fans React To John Wall Bumping Into A Courtside Reporter And Running Away
Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

John Wall barged into ESPN's Tim MacMahon and didn't even turn around to acknowledge it, with the clip of this incident going viral.

Things haven't exactly gone according to plan for John Wall this season. The point guard was expecting to play a vital role for the Los Angeles Clippers before the season began but it didn't pan out that way. Instead, he ended up being traded at the deadline, to the Houston Rockets, a franchise that he has had his issues with.

It's natural if John Wall isn't in the best of moods lately thanks to this. His future could still be promising, with the expectation that the team will buy him out. He could even end up on the Los Angeles Lakers if things work out that way. But while he was still with the Clippers recently, he ended up bumping into an ESPN reporter while practicing and the clip went viral.

Whether the bump was accidental or not, Wall didn't even acknowledge it, merely carrying on with his practice. The clip went viral because many thought John Wall would at least have turned around and apologized but he was locked into the drill. And if he has a bit of resentment toward the media, that might make sense as well. In any case, fans had a lot to say about it all.

NBA Fans Thought John Wall Was Rude Not To Apologize

Being an NBA player means even the most random actions you take are scrutinized. John Wall may not even have realized what had happened in the heat of practice, but it didn't stop fans who didn't like his reaction from saying so in the comments.

"Dude could’ve said excuse me or something."

"Well, that is rude af."

"J-Wall you gotta say my bad or something cmon bro."

"Nah that dude standing too close to the court. Deserved it."

"Be better, John Wall."

"This why no one want John Wall a**."

"John just mad the world don’t evolve around him & got sent back to Houston."

"Man is just pissed that he is back with Houston."

"Trade done got him in his feelings."

"Yeah, he hate the media."

"Nah bro, where's ur manners?"

Whether it was right or wrong of John Wall to not apologize, there is something to be said about sideline reporters standing too close. MacMahon's reaction shows he wasn't too bothered about it either, and as long as no one got hurt, there's no reason to dwell on the situation any longer than this.
