Jabari Parker signed with the Atlanta Hawks this offseason hoping for an opportunity to prove himself. He did just that on Wednesday night in an epic sequence against his former team and teammate Giannis Antetokounmpo.
While Antetokounmpo tried to make a play in the paint, Parker reached in and ripped the ball out of his hands. As the ball bounced to Parker’s teammate, he hustled up the court then got fed the basketball before throwing down a vicious slam.

As the replay shows, the moment is made even better for Parker with the poster thrown down on Donte DiVincenzo.

Parker, the No. 2 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft, never quite regained his form in Milwaukee after tearing his ACL for the second time in 2017. He’s found a home in Atlanta, though, and is averaging 17.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per game this season.
