ATTN: PHILADELPHIA EAGLES BRASS - DO NOT TRADE OUR COWBOY KILLER!

"In eleven career games Sheppard has eight interceptions against the Cowboys"

"Lito became the first player in NFL history to have two interception returns of more than 100 yards. Both returns came against the Dallas Cowboys. (2004 & 2006) The most recent return sealed a triumphant 38-24 win over the Cowboys and secured 1st place in the division for the Birds."

Enough said.

As much as I would enjoy getting a top talent WR in exchange for Lito, I just can't see giving up on our man just yet. At least give us Iggle fans a chance to see how he and Samuel compliment eachother. Move Sheldon to SS alongside Dawk, this is just as much of a dream for me as getting Fitz is, except this dream is partially a reality while the Phitz idea is nothing but rumors.

Gang Green is back, 08 is our!

I would love to see them keep LITO and move Sheldon to safety. We'd have the best defensive backfield in league history!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And we could also have LITO return punts. This would give the front office excuses to re-do their contracts - because they are demanding Lito move to right CB amd Sheldon to S.

that is exacly what i thought but if we can get a #1 wide reciver screw lito

I LOVE the idea Lito and Asante on the field together. He doesn't want to be here though. He'll make what 7-8 mil a year less than his counterpart? Don't see it being a healthy relationship.

Sometimes companies give raises to employees when they demand they change positions.

Until Lito actually comes out and voices his displeasure...lets not speculate too much. Don't let the actions of the media (and/or his agent) make you think theres more to the story than there actually is. Only time will tell

Look, I don't think there's much of a chance getting a difference making WR for him. If he stays they'll have to think about redoing his contract.Unless they don't care about pissing him off which is a good possibility. That backfield would be INCREDIBLE! It could also cost the Eagles 25-30 mil a season. Draft picks better work out if were gonna go in that direction.

just makes you wonder though, if they redo Lito's contract...who else is going to want a new deal? Shay Bro? Andrews? Cole? they're all locked up for years and years to come at what could be considered a bargain

I think ( shoulda looked it up first) Lito has four years left. It's very possible that if he isn't traded the Eagles wont do a new deal to appease him. Then hold outs and all that B.S. will start. "Bargains" are why it's important to draft well particularly out of the later rounds. In the case of popular players the FO looks like assholes but the result is having good players AND money for free agents.

Did anybody else hear Larry on 610 yesterday with Howard Eskin? Larry says the Cards would want to extend his contract to relieve some of their cap room for the next upcoming years because i think his number is somewhere around 16 million? If they don't want to sign him to a top 3 long term deal than they may be forced to move him. He says he would play in Philly, New York (Giants), New England, or pretty much anywhere else he can win. I was actually pretty surprised how much he sounded like he didn't think the deal would be done. I don't think we would see anything until closer to the draft, but it IS real and it COULD happen. Keep your fingers crossed!

Tell me what you guys think i heard him talking on the WIP 610...

We don't need a loaded secondary like that. 3 out of 4 positions is good enough. How good has Baltimore's DB's been.... McCallister, Reed, Rolle . Landry, or how about Denver DB's. None of that matters unless you can get pressure on the QB and put up points. I know Lito has been a great player for us, so was Trotter, but we found a replacement for him just like we have for Lito.

if we keep lito instead of trading him for a WR, they better get us more turnovers and defensive TDs. no more of this crap about not getting turnovers because the offense won't do anything with it anyway (thanks, sheldon), because without a breakout reciever, we're just going to have the same offense that couldn't score points that we had last year.

lito will be gone, deal with it!

FUCK YOU KEVIN,THANK YOU FOR SAYING LITO OUGHT TO STAY, HE IS A TOP NOTCH CORNER AND SHELDON IS A SS, HE PLAYED SS IN COLLEGE HE SHOULD JUST REALIZE HES BETTER THERE SECONDARY ISSUES ARE MET WIT SHELDON AT SS. AS FOR RECEIVERS GET A BETTER WR COACH OR HAVE HIM INVOLVE AVANT AND LEWIS, GET CURTIS TO BE MORE OF A TEAM PLAYER

lito is great too bad he only plays in half the games and hes not getting money so he won't play hurt so goodbye

GET JAVON WALKER A PHYSICAL AND LETS JUST SEE FROM THERE IF HE IS A GO.... HE MIGHT BE WORTH ONE YEAR JUST TO HELP OUR SQUAD OUT.... GIVE HIM ONLY LIKE 3 MILLION IN GAURANTEED MONEY SINCE HE IS INJURY PRONE. HE IS OUR BEST VIABLE OPTION... THERE IS NOONE ELSE... THIS COULD ALL HAVE BEEN AVOIDED IF WE KEPT STALLSWORTH BACK IN 2006. THE FO IS PROB SHOOTING THEMSELVES IN THE FOOT FOR LETTING HIM GET AWAY. AND PLUS IM AS HAPPY AS ANYONE ABOUT THE SAMUEL SIGNING BUT IT WAS SO UNNESSASARY. IF OUR OFFENSE SCORED ATLEAST 21 POINTS IN EVERY GAME OUR RECORD WOULD HAVE BEEN 13-3. THE DEFENSE WAS ALL READY GREAT. IT WAS TRULY OUR OFFENSESIVE LINE AND WIDE RECIEVERS THAT NEEDED TO BE UPGRADED IN THE FREE AGENCY.

He already signed with Raiders 55 mil 6 years, and well yeah, pretty much drafting malcolm kelly and james hardy with kevin curtis at slot should be ideal for us.FA is pretty much out the windowunless we give REGGIE BROWn3rd and 4th for Roy Williams. If we trade our most expendable player is reggie darren and sean considine
