Bold Prediction For Adrian Peterson!

Do you guys think this is ambitious or seriously stupid?

I think he's dumb to say this. he got lost in the hype of how good the so called experts thinks he is and now he's acting like 2000 yards is nothing. i know he dont say that in the video, but thats what it sounds like.

i say have some respect for the people that done it. dont say your gonna get it because i'm pretty sure they didnt do that.

AP is great and all but 2,000 yards against the Packers D twice, and the Bears D twice.

i dont think so.

but what do you guys think?

what did he get last year?
there will be new gameplans against him this year now that they know what he is capable of

exactly, the guy is good but not 2,000 yard good.

he is an insane RB in the league already i like him just as much as LT b/c he has strength n speed which most people dont have both and he has elite in both dept. Let him think big. He will have an excellent year and he will be the best RB very shortly... (imagine if he had a QB that could throw consistant like McNabb, Brady, or Manning.) it would make him that much better...

He's good but not 2,000 yards good!

I'd rather have a back that says he can do it rather than one who thinks he cannot do it. Only question is....can he stay healthy for a full season? Game planning for him or not, he's going to tear up some defenses. Sure, he'll have a couple of bad games, but what back doesn't? 2000 is a big stretch, but I like his confidence. Always have.

Did you mean 200 yards against the packers and bears?

If he gets 2000 against the Packers and Bears, then the deal is sealed, huh?

Nah, i meant that it would be hard to get 2000 yards while playing the packers twice and the bears twice. in his division.

That will be tough, but he did gash the Bears for 224 yards and 3 TD's last year in one game. He also got 112 against the Packers in one game. Just never know when he's going to go for 200. If people think he's done with the 200 yard games, they are kidding themselves as long as this kid is healthy.

He has one of the best run blocking lines in the entire NFL. That and his abilities give a real chance to do it, but realisticly no one should predict that kind of season. I like him but he has to stay healthy and if Jackson doesn't figure out the QB position early, he will see more games like the San Francisco game last season. Good luck to him, though.

Jackson was actually coming on a little bit and reading defenses much better at the end of last season. He was passing the ball a little better. They do have a speed receiver in Berrian now and Booty might give Jackson a little competition for that QB spot. They already have one of the best defensive lines in the NFC, so they are going to get plenty of offensive snaps.
