Boldin says "Unsure if he will attend training camp"

So Anquan says hes not sure if he'll be attending training camp. Even MORE interesting is the typo at the end of the article that suggests that Boldin is already a Philadelphia Eagle....Strange but funny...Does Florio know something we dont know? haha.

I wonder if Florio will fix the typo?? I had to read it twice to make sure there wasnt "something I missed"....weird and Im sure it will create a little "controversy" for a hot Sunday afternoon. I needed a little brain stimulation there and almost breezed right over the whole "Eagles typo" without noticing it. My brain is so wired now to hear the words Boldin/Roy/Johnson and Eagles in the same sentence (from all the rumors posts of past) that I almost missed it...

I live out here in phoenix and you dont hear to much about Anquan. But the coach was on the radio the other day and he kept pumping up some young reciever, over and over. Almost a little to much. ya know what I mean

No kidding desert. Hmm I dont wanna read into this too much 1.) NO WAY the Cards are pating him what he wants, REGARDLESS of what they say AND 2.) IF and thats a BIG IF, he DOES get traded, there are MANY teams that would be biting at the chomp to try to sign him.....Sooo we shall see, whats Yardbarker without some WR Eagles rumors anyway? Thanks for the info desert. Interesting, very interesting.

*meant know way the cards are PAYING him, oops

when the article was first posted by profootballtalk, there was a typo that said "The broader question is whether the eagles will keep him" They fixed it though but i thought it was funny

that is great.

Damn he fixed it already?? LOL. Hilarious PIC hahaha

I wouldnt mind him here, he would be a great addition to this team, anything is possible, so we'll just have to keep watchin.

i would rather have him than that train wreck chad johnson. now he has a hurt ankle to go with his list of problems. i dont think we are going to get either johnson or boldin though. it is time for brown to step and assume his role as #1 eagle wide out.

Agreed Gunna. And also maeagle, except for the fact that Reggie will assume the #1 reciever position. I dont think reggie his best is a "1" but more of a great #2, AGAIN IF he learns to jump and fight for the ball. I for one would not want Johnson on my team, ESP at the cost the Bengals will want. Ill take Boldin ANY day of the week...but I also dont really see it happening, but then again crazier things have happened.

i just posted this same article...i dont feel like deleting it im lazy so just screw it haha GOOD POST THOUGH U BEAT ME TO IT!!!! i hope he comes to philly and i didnt see the typo what did it say?

LOL, rules of posting, if ur beat you must DELETE...LOL, On the first sentence of the las paragraph it said " The broader question is whether the EAGLES will keep him." Its was promptly changed to "If the Cardinals keep him" I think Florio was thinking ahead of himself to the next sentence LOL

dont let what the Cards fool you on what they did withFitz. Anquan is the better recviever

I really hope that Boldin comes to the Eagles because he is the reciever we need to win. i mean we have a pretty good offense now but with Boldin it means SUPER BOWL

The eagles definitely have the most ammunition to make a trade happen with 2 first rounders and lito so who knows...I guess well just have to wait and see if Boldin holds out and forces the cards hand.

Eveyone including the Cards know they can't keep Boldin now that they've locked up Fitzgerald. I think Boldin would be a hell of an adition. The Eagles offense is definitely lacking that impact reciever as we all know. However, adding Boldin really makes the offense well rounded as opposed to not knowing what you'll get out of them from week to week. Having Boldin out there would make everyone better, make Westbrook more of a weapon, and I think it would really help out someone like Reggie Brown and or Jason Avant. Help them find a role.

Not sure what it would take to get Boldin. However, my guess is not as much as you would think considering the more time that passes the less cards the cards hold (no pun intended.) Not saying your going to get him for a 4th rounder or anything, but then again you never know, look what we gave up for T.O, look what the Pats gave up for Moss. I understand the circumstances are a tad bit different, but not really.

if we got him we'd be in the superbowl

The Eagles aren't getting Boldin! Let's face it we have what we have! The Cards won't trade, they should but the won't.

Open arms that is all I have to say..

I swear we've had this conversation before

Hahah squish, I saw it on PFT and thought Id repost. Its not my own write up, I just found the typo saying he was a Philadelphia Eagle interesting and thought you guys would too, didnt mean to start the Boldin to Philly rumors all over again, although I had a feeling this might happen :)

man I would absolutely love to have him here. I just have to doubt it would be easy for this to happen. It might and I was be the first to jump and scream for joy, but why the heck would they let him go? We also know Washington has been looking hard at WRs and are willing to deal. We'll see what happens, just not holding my breath

This is an interesting story. Fitzgerald signed a big money deal like MikeSB talked about, so I don't see how they can keep Boldin, too.

The Cardinals have been trying to take the next step up by making the playoffs(where have I heard that before out there?). This seems like a no-win for the Cardinals because Boldin is likely gone either way, and I know Philly will be one of those teams on the market for him because his addition would be huge for them. The Cards, like Philly, are built to win now, so this certainly poses an interesting dilemna should this indeed work out for both clubs. Regardless, I don't see Boldin in Arizona after Fitzgerald got a new deal either.

BTW, Florio has to be physic. Then again, if the Eagles don't get Boldin, his part-time job of a physic will crush beneath him! LOL!!

Nice topic Jared.

I live out here in Phoenix and it seems like the cards are hoping to try to talk Boldin into making through this season without any problems. Bolden is a quality person, he isnt the type to cause a big stink over the contract. When asked about it he just says "thats for his agent to work out and is keeping himself in football shape".

Yea Boldin is not the type of character guy as the "other" reciever out there being talked about. Hes a class act and thats why I would LOVE to see him in Eagles green. I dont think Boldin is going to hold out of training camp, and unless the cards have a major change of heart, he'll be in AZ atleast this year. But I agree with what you guys said, theres no way the Cards are paying him after they just forked over the mother load to Fitz. But him getting traded is a stretch this year. Def next year, but honestly, in my opinion the Eagles should make them an offer they cant refuse. If a miracle happens and he does get traded to Phila, Id like him to get some reps in before the season starts. Then again Donovan DOES w/o in AZ, maybe they have been throwing a little in the off season. WOW, Im really dreaming here....

I think what Ken Wizzenhunt is doing out here is making a type of example of Anquan and showing all the other players that he kinda plays hardball. Instead of just rolling over. Buy all the talk and the "read between the lines" out here, it has a feel like Anquan aint going to be with the team. What I think is going on is that, they (the Cards) are trying of convince him to wait utill next year because they do not have money this year. and Anquan saying its in his agents hands. (I believe Rosenhouse). This dosen't look good for the Cards keeping Bolden. Believe me I listen to the local sports talk radio waitng/hoping to hear "Bolden traded to Eagles". That would put us over the top. BIGTIME
