Chargers Cut Ties with WR Eric Parker
After not finding a trading partner, it appears that the Chargers have cut ties with WR Eric Parker. Adam Schefter of NFL Network is reporting that the team have released the wide out, who started 12 games back in 2006. Parker that season caught 48 passes for 659 yards, but missed all of last season with a toe injury.
Reports awhile back were that the Chargers had no plans on bringing Parker back this season, and there was some talk of a deal with Cleveland, who had shown interest in the past. The 29-year-old had played six years with San Diego, and was due to make a $1.85 million this season.
