Charges dropped against Chris Henry?

Reports state that the charges were dropped against jobless Chris Henry. He will be looking for work soon...

In the light of the hole that the Eagles need to fill at WR... Should we take a closer look at him if the commiss will lift the suspension? He was the man in Cincy... even with Chad and TJ... Besides... He is looking for work... Sign him to a one year deal Eagles... if the suspension is lifted...

I say sign him for a one year contract and see how he does on the field and if he behaves himself then we can maybe resign him for a longer term.

agree 100%

EAGLES NEED TO SIGN CHRIS HENRY GET HIM ON THE CHEAP,HE KNOWS HE IS DONE IF HE SCREWS UP HERE AND MAKE SURE HE UNDERSTANDS THAT BY PLACING CONTRACT STATING IT!!!

i think that would push the eagles to nother level! C.Henry has playmaking ability and is big target for D.Mac!

maybe but is henry all that great...is he a number 1?

I think hes closer to a # 1 then curtis or reggie will ever be...

no he's not a number one but he's big and he's not afraid to go over the middle, i think he's an excellent reciever but he's too much liability and the eagles know that, besides, we wouldnt offer him as much as other teams like, say, oh i dont know, the cowboys?

I GUESS YOU HAVE NO IDEA ,IF YOU DONT THINK CHRIS HENRY IS A NUMBER 1 RECIEVER THAN WAIT TO SEE IN 1 YEAR,WHO WAS LISTED AS A TOP 5 RECIEVER IN NFL

CHRIS HENRY WILL BE A TOP 5 W/R THIS YEAR!!!!

I agree I say we give him a shot for one year! If he does good then the long term, He would definatly add some room for others and him self to succeed! Why not?

Question... if he was signed by the EAGLES... who would be the # 1 receiver?

He was slot in cincy, even if they have great recievers i doubt hes a number 1. maybe another #2 which we dont need. I wouldnt sign him, and i doubt the Eagles would. Either way, it wouldnt matter to me.

If the charges were dropped does that mean hes not qualified to play for the cowboys

I doubt the Eagles will even consider it.....Good thought though, especially for one year.

ya know my first reaction was "NO Way". But after some more in depth thought. The question is , Has chris Henry learned anything from this recent episode. If some how he has "seen the light" . Its possible with everything that has happened to him the last couple of months. The Eagles should at least talk to the guy in the most private way they can. try to see how these life altering events have affected him. If he shows true remorse and sells himself. The Eagles has been pretty public in searching for another reciever. Plus heres the best thing. The Eagles could get him CHEAP. Right up there ally. I would give him a shot.If all of the above were true. Put him on the field you know he will play with something to prove

you got this one right, the fact that chisler joe banner could get him at a bargan price my be the most important issue here......bring him to philly !

ii dont know why they wouldnt try, people can change especially when they get to the point he is at. he must realize by now that one more f-up and he will be out of the nfl for good. he definately has talent that could help us out

CHANGE WOULD BE GOOD,BUT IF NOT RIDE THE EDGE OUT OF PUBLIC SPOT LIGHT BEHIND CLOSE DOORS!!!!

This guy is a bargain at any level sign the year deal and if it doesnt work out trade him next year. But philly might want to look at roy williams in dallas imagine that defense
