Chris Gamble is an idiot

To be fair to Gamble, that was not a decision he made on the spot. Rather, Coach Fox told his players to run that play. Although he probably should have held onto the ball, I think it is tough to malign him as an idiot for running the play.

Fair enough. Chris Gamble is not an idiot, but he sure looked stupid out there.

Everyone's Super Bowl pick, the Carolina Panthers, are 0-2. On the other hand, the Vikings are now 2-0. It hurts to say this as a Bears fan, but I think the Vikings have a very good shot to win the division.

The Vikings, for the past few years now, have been overhyped and underperforming. Always, it's been the spotty defense that has hurt the team, and it'll be interesting to see how they rally around their new, high-energy, d-coordinator Mike Tomlin. If the defense can hold its ground against pass-happy teams, then the Vikings certainly will win the division and advance in the playoffs. If their defensive struggles continue - marked by missed tackle after missed tackle after missed tackle - then it'll be another roller coaster year for the Purple and Gold.
