I was just brushing up on my draft day analysis. Dennis Dixon is nowhere to be found on Chicago's radar screen. Chicago would benefit in a great way having Dixon holding a clip-board for a couple of seasons. I think Dixon would be a strong addition to any team needing a strong QB prospect. He is not ready today to step in today, but with a couple of years backing up, getting bigger and stronger, I believe that he could become a serviceable starting QB in this league. Before he got hurt, please let me know the QB that commanded a team the way he did. Sure there were better numbers else where, but those numbers were inflated thanks to a lack of competition e.g. Hawaii and Colt. Dennis Dixon will be a good quarterback in a league that is lacking those good middle of the road QBs that have strong careers. Will history look at him as a GREAT QB? No, he will have a good career, but only if there is a team that is willing to take a shot on him. I think he is well worth it.
