Does NE need to make another statement?

BUT, from a Pats fan: TB is doing alright, he had a better game last week then against the Colts, but he still got picked-off. The Colts game being the marker of course becase the 'Boys game wasn't really that shocking. Our offense is also bothersome I don't like that we can't seem to get a solid running game going. Whatever else Dillion wasn't, he at least gave us another option to a banged-up Maroney, I like Kevin Faulk and I think that he's a fighter, but we need a(nother) big back (not one with a name, but one that can produce solid numbers). I'm concerned that our O-Line is porous... I mean TB got sacked too much in that last game, and it was an increase from the previous games, not to metion the rushes. We lost Colvin and Seau isn't getting any younger. Obviously D is always a concern, but if Seau and Thomas can hold and stay healthy, we still have a good (not great) shot at beating the Colts again and getting to the Super Bowl. Gost missing that field goal bothered me too, I mean one from 40+ I understand, but really, 23, really?? I think Gost needs to practice some more.

If you think Dallas is the favorite to win the superbowl you are on crack most people think they wont even beat the Packers if they play again. I think Maroney is weak. the o-line is the main reason they have played like the have. We see what happens when Brady gets pressured he gets a little rattled. A statement game against Ravens? No I dont think so maybee against Pitt. Pat d is old and it shows sometimes. I dont see the big deal about Adalius Thomas.

Wow, that Ravens game sucked. I mean REALLYsucked, it just looked bad. McGahee blew us up.... we have GOT to stop the run more, we can't keep giving up 130 yards a game, have our WRs unable to break free and still expect to win. Particularly against GOOD teams.

Stang, Thomas is a veteran in a pretty important position and he helps to anchor the D. Thomas is above the league average in tackles and sacks, and he has a knack for being in the right place at the right time. What more could you ask for in a 1.5mil player?
