Doing a Little of This and a Little of That

What's good with all of my yardbarker friends? First, I wanted to say that I am sorry for the delay in between my last post and this one. Since that post, I have been traveling and spending time with my family. I have also been focusing on football and preparing for our upcoming mini camp so my life has been on a constant pace.

I hope all is well with you all and I want to thank you for all of your comments and emails. Your support, questions and enthusiasm continues to push me to become better and do what I do every day. I am looking forward to camp and I can't wait for my 2nd season in the NFL.

Wanted to get your thoughts on HBO's Hard Knocks. I loved it, but did the Chiefs players and personal feel it was a good representation of training camp? Did most of the team watch it?

It was a great exposure for the guys and coaches on the team to get some exposure. It showed our personalities and allowed people to get a better idea of who we were. The first couple episodes of the series we actually watched together...

Hello sir, I hope that all went well back home. However, my question still remains; when do you plan on joining J-Roc in Silver 'n Black? ...after all, black is one of your favorite colors and the Raiders could sure use you. Oh well, that is perhpas just wishful thinking since you are locked up for the next couple of years... a man can dream though... lol

Championship... the governor of Pennsylvania will have to call the state militia to Philly, cause of the whoopins the eagles would be puttin on the folks.

Dwayne! Dude, you turned out to be one of the pleasant suprises on my fantasty football team last year. :) I think that the Chiefs had the best draft this year hands down. You really seemed to grasp the offensive concepts and ripped up some defenses as a rookie. With continued growth, It won't be long before you are in Hawaii. I'm excited about the potential the Chiefs have and am looking foward to pre-season!

What do you think about the new rule the Chiefs have about fans not being able to stand at the games Dwayne? It's a shame because they aren't going to be able to be going crazy during all the times you reach the endzone.

Who says u can't stand ?? Good luck enforcing that one. They will only enforce it as a last resort for unruly idiots.

I am sure it will still be ok to stand , pound your seat, and scream at the top of your lungs on third and long.

There is also an "ordinance" stating no unruly, drunken behavior... hello, you ever been to a game ?!?! That is only enforced in real dangerous situations.

Overall the experience at ARROWHEAD is second to none. Remember the RUDY scene " This is the most beautiful sight these eyes heve ever see ?'- That is ARROWHEAD - Each SUNDAY in football season is a HOLIDAY to the real CHIEF"S fans..

DBO, one of the best things you could ever do would be to show a lot of respect and props to the fella's who paved the way for you and your familia.

I would love to hear about you visiting some of the former local players and seeing if you can use your influence to help these guys !

I agree... He has the breakaway speed the Chief's need. Team him up with DBO and SIPPIO and we have us a receiver corps for the first time since ..... OTIS TAYLOR ?? GOD BLESS YOU OTIS !!

Dwayne, if you enjoy the arrowhead atmosphere, just wait til you make the playoffs at home!!! The 1993 Chiefs Raiders game was UNfreakingBelievable!!! Thanks for playing hard and representing our team well, on and off the field. The talent is in place, a little time and some love and you will do great things. Never forget to enjoy the game!!!
