Ok so after a good day of blogging Im gonna call it quits for the day but tomorrow we report to camp and Im more ready than ever. After the guarantee I've received a lot of phone calls, emails, messages on myspace and messages on facebook, some good and definantly some from the doubters. It's definantly motivation for the entire organization to get going. Were all in this together and its been too long since the city of Buffalo has experienced a winning team and trust me all buffalo fans and will experience the playoffs and once in the playoffs anything can happen. Just look at the Giants last year.

Why did I make the guarantee?

-well 1st off because I know we have all the pieces in place

-we have experience (in the previous two years we very very young and injured)

-special teams( for the last 4 yrs we've had the #1 spot for special teams stats and a #2 finish)

-Defense (our roster is loaded with cb's that can really play not just a bunch of bodies, which will allow us to utilize more defensive packages and schemes, and not be so predictable and allow qb's to bleed us all the way down the field hoping they make a mistake)

-offensive line (and two your surprise this yr it wont just be Marshawn, Freddie is one of the hardest workers I've ever seen so look forward to a two headed RB/WR duo and thats all Im going to say about them you'll have to just wait and se it on your own)

LAST AND FINAL REASON IS THE FANS OF BUFFALO!!!! THEY WILL BE THE REASON WE MAKE OUR RUN. I WANT TO CHALLENGE EVERY FAN THAT ATTENDS A GAME IN BUFALO THIS YEAR.........LET ME SAY THIS CLEARY.........."LET'S MAKE BUFFALO THE SCARIEST PLACE TO PLAY IN THE NFL, WE WILL DO OUR PART ON THE FIELD BY BEING THE MOST PHYSICAL TEAM IN THE LEAGUE AND YOU GUYS DO YOUR PART BY CURSING, YELLING, THROWING SNOWBALLS WHATEVER YOU HAVE TO DO TO BRING IT HOME. Well you know what I think Donte, I think you guys are definitely playoff bound this year. People better start believing in the Bills because they are going to be a dangerous team for years to come.

Donte, I am a billiever. With a healthy D and an improved offense, the Bills are going to get it done. This is just the beginning of some special things in Buffalo.

You guys got a good team, and I think you can be a playoff team you guys just continue to believe in yourselves throughout the year. It would be nice to see a different team in the playoffs thisseason, but just please don't knock out the Broncos :)

I think that the Bills have a chance at being one of the best teams in the NFL this year.... If the Giants can do it then theres no reason why the Bills cant!

I would give anything to see this team make the playoffs in 08. I can't explain how amazing it is to see this passion still coming from you. Since you got here you have taken over as a leader of this team. Your physical play exemplifies the tough Buffalo work ethic. And to now honestly believe that the Bills WILL make the playoffs this year has gotten me more excited than i could ever put into words. I know that any day of the week you and the rest of the team would be willing to lay it all on the line for eachother and the city.
I have been promising playoffs to all of the doubters in PA for months. I know you won't let me down.

Donte man, huge Bills fan here in Buffalo since birth. I rep Northwestern and I was always sick of OSU kicking our a**** (except in 04 LOL) but I'm so happy to have you in Buffalo. You show great passion and intensity and we fans here love you for it. Thanks for stepping up and being a leader as well as a great player on the field. I'm making the trip down from school to mess up some Rams fans and sing the Shout song for the St Louis game, CAN'T WAIT

Donte, I'm so stoked about the upcoming season that I can hardly contain myself. The front office has given us die-hard Bills fans hope with their personnel moves. And you, more than anyone else, amplify that hope with your attitude. I Bill-ieve that 2008 is going to be something special, and I can't wait to see you guys playing in early 2009.

That would be sick to see you get in the playoffs. I know my dad would go nuts. He's been a Bills fan his entire life, and I'm not sure he's ever fully recovered from those four Super Bowl losses. I'd love for him to be able to see y'all get back there. Go hard. Stay healthy.

I like the Bills shot at making the playoffs this year. The only "wild card" might be the acquisition of Brett Favre to the Jets. They have a "win now" mentality and that could be a dangerous commodity that will diminish the chances of teams that just missed the playoffs last year (Browns included). If the Bills can stay healthy and Trent Edwards continues to grow, I think the Bills have a legitimate shot at the post season.

I actually had a few Bills on my fantasy football team last year (Terrence McGee was my STAR on defense) had Fred Davis was a "handcuff player" that really panned out for me down the stretch! Tell them thanks for me. :)

Donte, I'm a Buffalo native currently serving my country in Iraq. Unfortunately I'll be here for the majority of the season (hopefully I can catch most games on AFN/Internet). WITH LUCK I'll be home on leave for Christmas. I will do my best to get tickets to the NE game... and you can bet your A$$ I'll do all that you ask, please do your part... I KNOW you will!!!!!

Donte, I have been a Bills fan since the team was founded and this is the first time that I have ever written anything to a Bills player.
I want to thank you for stepping up and taking a leadership role on the team (something that was much needed) and especially for taking L.McKelvin and J.Hardy under your wing and trying to show them how to do things the right way. It is essential for those "young pups" to be ready and able to contribute this season, so please keep on 'em and do your best to prep them 'cause the quicker they can step up and contribute some big plays the better the team will be.
Don't worry about anyone getting on you about your guarantee...or about the fans making "The Ralph" hell for opposing teams.
If you and your teammates stay healthy, go full out, and play up to your capabilities, the Buffalo fans will rock the joint like you wouldn't believe. After 8 painful years, we're just waiting for a reason to do so! Bills fans will always Bill-ieve, but if you and the rest of the fellas are creating turnovers, making big hits, scoring TDs, and winning games, Bills fans will make "The Ralph" even more fun to play in than "The Horseshoe" with every game being like or better than that Dallas game on Monday night last season. Count on it. And tell your teammates to count on it. (Just ask Jim Kelly, Bruce or Thurman the next time you see one of them at TC.)

Donte, I love the guarantee. From the outside looking in, it looks like you have turned into a team leader. I believe this team has been needing that for awhile. The DL, LB, and DB have all been upgraded plus healed players add even more depth. I'm thinking top 5 defense this year. You guys gotta believe you can beat those patsies. God, I wish Peters was in camp. The D and ST look great, but the O could be bad again. Turk has his work cut out.
