Eagles BEST "draft pick" LORENZO BOOKER!?!?!?

Ok so I was listening to this interview with Angelo Cataldi on WIP with new Eagle Lorenzo Booker. Theres been alot of talk on the impact he is likely to have with the Eagles this upcoming season. Booker is basically our 4th round draft pick this year, with the benefit of having a year of NFL experience under his belt. This guy could be exactley what the Eagles offense needs and I think his impact will be truly amazing with the way he seems to fit with the Eagles offensive scheme. This kids talent and potential with this offense is literally shy high...Heres a stat for you... In his senior year in high school, he amassed over 3000 total yards and 50 touchdowns. Yes thats not a misprint, 50 touchdowns his SENIOR SEASON ALONE. Granted comparing high school to the NFL is like comparing Reno Mahe to Devin Hester, but that shows the AMAZING talent this kid has. He has great quicknes, speed, attitude, and HANDS. Maybe the best hands Ive seen from a running back as far back as I can remember. I truly believe this trade/draft pick will prove to be one of, if not THE most important move the Eagles made this offseason. Check out his interview on WIP and tell me this kid does not excite you and get your mind running with possibilities for next year and years to come....and yes 50 TOUCHDOWNS and over 3000 yards in HIS SENIOR SEASON in HS. 	Oh by no means am I saying this guy is going "to replace" the man, B West. Just thik he looks like a perfect compliment, and would take some of the "load" of B West keep him a bit more fresh

	I think Booker Will get a bit more reps as WR while Westbrook Runs the Ball an switch like that..... because both will more than likely be on the field but what defenders wont know is who is going to get the Ball between the 2 of those RB's also will they run or will they catch the ball an where will DJax be will Mcnabb throw to the TE's it will bring vast confusion to the Defenses... Why because We have Agility an Speed an The Defenders wont know who is getting the Ball or who to block n not to block... an if last yr was any indication We got Kevin an Reggie that can Catch Almost impossible catches against CBs so We should be good... If we ran more on this games last yr instead of Throwing into the Redzone those were sure games we would of won... But thats why this yr it will be that much better.... I heard Booker Talk on the PE.com an he really sounds like A perfectionist in terms of Playing which is a good Because he doesnt want error an wants to get the best an give the best effect for our offense to win.... All i gotta say is that if we dont get the big time WR than i think Mcnabb will be content with the Players an new toys he can play with.... Remember LJ was an is Dmacs Number one target now he got Kevin n LJ Avant when he comes in an i know he really likes Reggie an wants him as go to guy but it will all go well...

	I think this is what they envisioned Moats to be when they drafted him. I'm sure they already have a few schemes worked out where he (Booker) will get 6-8 touches a game. Should provide a lot of key miss matches and give defenses a headache. If D Jax can hit the field early, this is going to make for a speedy defense. Also, I think James Jones might supplant Greg Lewis as the 5th WR. Sure, one speedy guy for another, but he might have more upside in the long run.

	Yea latin I think the same thing about moats. He looked so good his first year, then the injury bug, I think weve seen the last of Moats in Eagles green.

	BOOKER is gonna be used in motion and in the slot.....we gonna have a bunch of burners on the field........no way anyone can match up.....

	Remember the Staley West Coast Offense days? Ahh... Such fond memories. Something tells me that Booker will be a great all purpose back, who will surely play beyond the expectations of the fans. He has good vision, and the fact that we are getting people with good hands on our offense makes the path of Eagles far more achievable.

	Yes its good to hear opinions from Eagles fans who actually know football. I know people who are "fans" (not fellow yardbarkers) who think getting Booker was a "waste of a pick"?!?!? It frusterates the hell out of me when I talk to people who are only fans on Sundays, yet think/act like they know all. I mean the sky truly is the limit for Booker in this scheme I really believe that. At this point in B Wests career, he was still a relatively big ? Booker has shown that his hands are incredible for a running back (hell, for a reciever, which i think hell be playing more than RB) Im really surprised the Phins would give this kid up for what they did. It could prove to be one of or THE biggest trade weve made in years. I just have a feling about this kid that I cant shake. 50 TDs his SENIOR SEASON in HS??? Thats just unbelievable! Make those Dolphins look like fools Lorenzo...Cant WAIT to see Booker, Curtis, Jackson, Westbrook, and now maybe LITO on the field in a spread formation?!?!? WHoa just imagine that and try not to get hype about the season!!!!

	Although I still dont know what to make of this whole "Lito at reciever" thing yet....We know he has the moves and good hands, durability and size of course do concern me...But who knows, we could have the fastest offense, AND the fastest defence in the league....Think Andy and Co. are starting to realize SPEED KILLS in the NFL. And we best be KILLIN em this season!!!!

	I wish i would have had the chance to play against booker in High School, his school joined my leauge (channel leauge, ventura california) the year after he graduated (01-02) and they have been our biggest rivals ever since. I know running against a h.s. Defense is far from running against a nfl D but if you guys were lucky enough to see booker in his H.S. Days, like i did, there would be no doubt that he will one day be a top five NFL RB. He would be have been the heisman winner instead of bush if he would have been in U.S.C.'s back field
