Eagles Backfield in motion

" Brian Westbrook said the conversation he had with Eagles coach Andy Reid about newly acquired backup running back Lorenzo Booker was a quickie. But just the fact it happened is an indication of the scheming the Birds' brains are doing on the second floor of the team's practice facility. ''We talked briefly about using both of us in the passing game,'' Westbrook said. ''I think if you put Reggie [Brown], Kevin [Curtis] and DeSean [Jackson] in the wide receiver positions and me and Lorenzo in the backfield, it would be tough for any team to match up with the speed that we put on the field. I think it's tough for a defense to match up with us. I think that's what Coach Reid was thinking when we added him.''"

I know everyone wants a #1 but is the team we have really that good to make a run at the Super Bowl? I dont know Im 50/50 on that one but Brian does make a good point

They have a better chance of First making it to the winning there division, than win the playoffs an the NFC Championship n lord willing getting to the SB and winning it....

I personally dont think we need a Number one.... figure Speed kills(not the Drug im reffering to LOL) physical Quickness an the Offense Brings that its Good because The Eagles will Come in Against Teams an Surprise them Cuz opposing teams dont know what to expect from the Eagles.. They have to Face Booker Desean Jackson LJ Smith is healthy we got Reggie Brown Kevin Curtis Kris Wilson Donovan Mcnabb Jason Avant Just to name a few All of Speed u never know when Mcnabb will scramble an run down field LOL that is going to be funny... Remember Mcnabb was getting a bit more healthier an he outran almost every Defensive Player in the Saints defense last yr that was funny an scary for the Defense Because no one will know when he is going to run around Watch for mcnabb this season to have Rushing yards LOL

I think it's a great idea to add another speed back (who has excellent receiving skills) to our backfield. It will pose huge match up problems in that we could motion Booker and use him as a 4th WR while running with Westbook (when teams go with the nickel defense). I'm sure this is what they hoped for when they drafted Moats a few years back. But the dude is totally erratic and can't catch very well.

i know he helped us an if we cant keep him i hope he can be used elsewhere but Booker Brings Way More Promise than Any RB behind Westbrook and he Has Height Advantage as A WR and RB its gonna be great... 6'1 is solid for a WR/RB

Hey guys comment on my latest article regarding Marvin Harrison and Reggie Brown tell me what yall think...

6'1??? Where do u get your information? Hes a SMALLER back at 5'10 190lbs...maybe 6'1 if hes wearing ice skates...

WHEN ONE OF THE GREAT EAGLES SPEAK WE NEED TO LISTEN , HE KNOWS WHAT HE IS TALKING ABOUT.

i like booker speed,on line backers in space---and swing westbrook in motion----thats scary--three wr spread!!!!
