Feagles has no shot at Hall of Fame

I have seen New York Giants punter Jeff Feagles mentioned as a Hall of Fame candidate in a couple of places recently. So, let's talk about that a little bit.

Feagles has absolutely zero chance of being elected to the Hall of Fame. No punter has ever been elected.

It seems wierd to think of a punter being inducted. BUt why not? They play an intricate part of the game at crucial times. I dont know?

What a shame...a good punt can be a game a changer, and Feagles has had many over his career. He can lobby all of the kickers (are there any kickers in the hall?) to write him in.

There are no kickers in the Hall. Ray Guy is on the ballot. Someday that might change, but I think it is going to be a long time.
