Goodbye Steve McNair, you will be missed

The Ravens will QB hunting again this draft day, Adam Schefter of NFL Network is reporting that Steve McNair will retire. As a person who watched him every Sunday during his Titans career I can honestly say the man always showed up on Sundays. He might not practice the entire week because he was hurt but come Sunday, you could always count on him. He truly became a QB, he was a running, get by with my athletic ability guy early in his career but from about 2000 on, he worked hard to be a QB first and only run when he needed to.

The image of him that I will always have will be of Kevin Carter almoist sacking him in Super Bowl XXXIV but somehow McNair escaped and kept the drive alive and then Carter running off the field because he was exhausted.
