Is Brandon Marshall still worth drafting?

A few weeks ago, Brandon Marshall was considered a possible top ten fantasy receiver. Now the NFL is looking into his rap sheet as his arrest on March 6th was his 3rd in 12 months. He is also going on a DUI charge in September. This is where his fantasy value is affected. Marshall could be suspended for at least one or two games which will turn many people away from drafting him even though he is an elite talent. But while a risk is involved, whoever takes him will be rewarded. Marshall is Jay Cutler's favorite target and should still see plenty of opportunities. If suspended, it will be hard to match last season's totals with over 100 catches. But if Marshall is suspended for only a few games, 80 catches for 1000 yards and 6 touchdowns isn't out of the question. While it first appeared that Marshall would go in the 3rd and 4th round, he may now fall to the 6th or 7th where he could be a possible steal.

B-Marsh is a beast, thats really all that needs to be said

so u dont need to add that he has the chance of being suspended? come on TC u know hes a risk this season

That's my point exactly. No doubt he's a great talent but nobody knows how many games he will play this year. But it looks like it won't be injuries holding him back.

He already participating fully in camps. He will be 100% by the season.

Yeah, but he could be suspended by the league for the fact he has 3 arrests in 12 months.

I drafted him in round 6 I thought it was a steal

I agree. At that point in the draft he is a great value even if he is suspended.

if he is suspended it'll be a few weeks and by then a reciever will come out of nowhere and I'll pick him up

yeah 6th round is all good...but he cant be ur first receiver taken thats just too risky

TJ Whoyamama was my first WR in round three and then D-BOWE RD9

Upside and need for speed on outside make BMarsh very key to Shanahans plan, and that coach doesn't want distractions...small in-house monetarily small fine and extra reps is all he'll get on team side...he's too on the rise...a suspension will cost Denver, a total guess obviously, 2 close big play games...and yeah, Goodell is on an "spygate fiasco restore image campaign" , so suspension could happen with 3 in a year...tough call, but at least he didn't push a FO travel Sec. to the ground in front of all his teammates

Like someone already said, it is not his health that concerns me. What bothers me is his lack of maturity. Hopefully he can grow up off the field.

There's no doubting his talent. The only questions is how many extra BYE weeks he'll have.
If you think the commissioner is in a happy mood, Marhsall may be worth picking as # 2 receiver.
