Jason Cole Rips DeSean

I dont where this guy is coming from, this to me is an unfair assement of the kid after watching him in one day's practice. I doubt that he's ever paid attention all the time at school, meetings at work. Heres some of what he had to say: "The problem is that Jackson has this tendency to act like a kid who thinks it's cool to sit in the back of class and stare at the ceiling tiles with a disaffected attitude. During every individual drill, Jackson was the last in line to do the exercise. When wide receivers coach David Culley stopped to talk to the group, Jackson was the first (and often the only) one to take off his helmet. He looked off in every direction except directly at Culley."

"About the only time Jackson seemed to pay full attention was when Reid was observing up close. In the NFL, you have to work harder than just when the big boss is looking."

ok even I know this is just a crap write up to get some headlines by this guy, wrap your coffee grinds in it. after everything i've read about this kid that is not a fair assesment by any means

LMAO!!!!!!!!!! good one chicka, here we go now, watch it flow now......talk sht about desean, *sigh* whatever, GUNNAAAAAAAAAAAA it's to hot for me to process this. i'll take it for what it's worth MKAY, but that i NO WAY reflects on how much i dig you gunna LOL!!!!

This IS the offseason. These chaps need something to write about. ha! Can't wait for pre-season to start so we can get a good look at what we have. As soon as he rips off a huge gain from a return or reception, all of the sudden our FO will look like geniuses and DJax will look like a diligent student of the game. Stay tuned!

This is nothing new. This has been said about Jackson all along, even when he was at Cal. Jackson even came out in the media a few weeks ago and said he is going to have to change and make an effort to focus on the task at hand and not be a distraction to this team. The guy has never been a team player. He has the its all about me atittude but he said he is going to work on it. I hope he does.

Most of the great ones do, they just learn how to interact with their teamates(in most cases). I like the confidence by now is DEF not the time to not be paying attention. I think Desaun will get it right....I sure hope so

People make judgments about one another without really being aware of their true intentions. If Jackson wasn't paying attention, then he would be a problem on the field, I have yet to hear testimony concerning the play of Jackson, and I feel as though it is unfair to assume that he is rude or disrespectful. They owe him the common courtesy to speak with his play before they bash him. A lot of people have different ways of observing things, and understanding their surroundings.

ok, puma, once again that's pretty much the perfect reply, i have nothing left to add!!!!

I sent him an email and he actually replied! I cut and pasted it for ya!

Actually, during the offseason, the press is allowed to watch all two hours of practice. The 10-minute limit is during the regular season. Now, I may still be an idiot, which is why I don't really understand your anger. I certainly observed him playing well in practice, which you seemed to ignore from the article.

I thought this Desean is a slacker crap was all thrown out the window after the first practice he had with the birds where he wowed most of the people there with his effort to work hard to learn what he could in that time frame.

I bet this guy read old articles from NFL.com because most of them stated that he's a slacker. But since then he hasn't slacked off if he ever slacked off at all. So obviously this guy decided to slack off himself in getting the real facts on Desean and has decided to copy what the "draft experts" said were his downfalls.

playing football is becoming a game of poker.... every little eye movement is now criticized. Sometimes reporters need to shut up and just watch the professionals do their dang thang. Every reporter is tryin to create drama and break huge stories.... make something out of nothing. Its becoming a curse to follow the game as much as we all do, we live and die with each game.... so these god dang comments really get us goin.... along with the rumors. there just so much BS in sports anymore and its never-ending.
