Javon Walker to be traded this offseason?

Broncos wide receiver Javon Walker today in an interview said it might be best for the Broncos to trade him this offseason. Walker only had 26 catches for 287 yards. With Brandon Marshall turning into a go to guy this move might be a smart one for the Broncos as it will save them a lot of money and Brandon Stokley signed an extension earlier this season.

as a Broncos fan, I think it would be good to trade him because it does save you money, and they could get some help at o-line or d-line in the trade.

It is but when healthy he has pro bowl potential and he also seems like a nice guy

they have Marshall though who proved this season that he is a go to receiver and with Stokley, the Broncos could get some good value for Walker if they choose to trade him.

But, now that he has voiced his desire to leave, the Broncos won't be able to get as much for him. The Vikings and Titans each have some young guys at o and d line positions that they could potentially give up. The real question is what is the price tag at now that Javon has started talking?

yeah, always was intrigued by Jevon in GB...totally wanted to sign him before Denver scooped him up...but now, the injury issue...still would take chance on him though

If Walker gets released, we should focus more on guys to add to our special teams. That is what is killed us this season. Two returns from Hester during the Bears game...that was not pretty. I say we fosuc on special teams... GO BRONCOS

Just might be the best move for all parties concerned:
-Broncos need help elsewhere and he's up for a big contract.
-From his perspective the term in Denver has been a disappointment and the Darrent Williams memory lingers. Might benefit from a fresh start.
-The problem is that he's approaching 30 and coming off injury who is going to pick up that contract? (Didn't the Pats get Randy Moss for a 4th rounder?) A more likely scenario might be for Denver to release him; allowing him to strike a new deal on his own.

This might be good for Javon he was hurt most of this season and he might be better off as a Brandon Marshall is improving. Javon Walker would be a better 1 or 2 receiver in Tennessee or Philadelphia. If he does get traded, I hope he doesnt have to go to a team that has to play the New York Giants because Sam Madison or Corey Webster will jack him up.

I think Walker should be traded, especially if he's saying that Denver isn't where he wants to be. It would hurt us rather than help us to have him here, if he doesn't want to play here anymore. And Brandon Marshall is on his way up.

I think that this would be the best because then the Broncos could get some help on the Defensive line and maybe another linebacker or someone on special teams. They should also trade Travis Henry because they have Selvin Young and then get someone on the D-Line to.

i think walker should go to philly he has talent a lot of it. broncos need a good d-fence this year. they might be better off if they got rid of travis henry(total dud) he could brong in some help in a trade. selvin young is our guy.

I think Walker is a great player and we are doing the right thing. We will get more money and even a descent player. Hey, why not sign Al Wilson again. It will help our rush defense a lot and D.J can go back to outside. That would resolve some problems we have had the whole 07 season
