eagles no super bowl wins... Patriots 3, giants 3, redskins 3, dallas 5, every team you dislike has atleast 3 more up on you

This is not about the Patriots or Eagles so much as it is between Welker, and Samuels. Samuels has proven to be a more valuable player to have on your team.
Welker is not in the position to call someone out on a personal decision. Welker left the Dolphins while they were down, Samuels left the Patriots when they were looking down, thats just the dark part of the business.
As for blaming Samuels for not gaining the pick, I thought it was the Offenses' job to score points...

Samuel also choked away that Super Bowl as well(not only dropping that INT on the G-Men's final drive, but he got WHIFFED on that Tyree TD in the 4th, as well as on Tyree's amazing catch, which actually was his, not Rodney's responsibility in coverage).

yah ud know his assignment on the play in which tyree caught that amazing pass wouldnt u, because ur the secondary coach huh... and u were right there when they created that scheme....... and implimented it in the game werent u.... ur so right because the pats only lost because asante dropped that pass... when they were ahead... not on the fact that the pats couldnt outscore the new york giants amazing offense (laugh).... or by the fact that samuel should have been taking the other side of the field aswell when manning threw the game winning touchdown to plax on the oppisite side of the field from samuel..... they lost because samuel huh footballfan.... huh

Jim Rome got this one right in the cross hairs. It's a business and that's the way it is. When Wes is finished dusting off his AFC ring, Asante can dust off his 2 Super Bowls rings with all his Benjamin's. Better yet, he can pay someone else to do it!

Welker sounds a little angry....You can never fault any player who wants to get the money/contract he has earned. Samuel is a great player. Philly wanted him because he's a great player. I dont believe the Pats cheated playing the Eagles in the bowl. Donovan could have played better, not to mention he was puking on the field, cause he was sick. BUT The Pats went 16-0 AND LOST to the Gaints in the Bowl PLUS they have the cheating thing hanging over thier heads.....That will always be in peoples minds everytime they win a game. I am an eagles fan......and i will love watching Samuel playing with my guys. At least when the Eagles win game they are not accused of cheating....so Welker grow up and earn your pay boy..........Oh and by the way Samuel has his ring....oh i mean rings!

Bottom line is, Rome makes a point. Wes has no room to talk. Brady, Brusci, etc., yes. Welker always gave off that workman-like vibe as a Dolphin, but since he got to NE, he's been brash and smarmy. Rome's a pain in the ass sometimes, but Welker still has no business. This isn't a Patriots/Eagles argument, it's player/player.

Jim Rome is, and always has been a prick to say the least. He is a wannabe that couldn't make his little league team and now he loves to rag on athletes that say and do things that he can then throw them under the bus for all of the fans. Wes welker should be applauded for what he said because 1st of all it was true, 2nd, if you want to play for the Patriots you must be disciplined and I'm sure this is why some of the Patriot players don't want to play there any longer. If you are a player and leave a team that is almost sure to make the playoffs for the next 5 years for a team that is iffy at best for the playoffs then yes, you have dollar signs is your eyes. What really sucks about Jim Rome the most is is that he buries athletes all of the time for saying the right thing. He is an idiot on one of his good days.
