there is not other i'd rather have lead this team ;0 !!!!

I agree and laugh at the fake eagles fans who want him traded. Losers

DITTO! Fakes yes and also asswipes! The ones who loved Garcia or anyone else are clueless.

Finally i hate defending myself at school people will see this year i can sit their and laugh and see al of those bandwagons from 04 jump back on mcnabb got injured get over it he is back

Bwest36allday don't worry you won't have to defend yourself. We are back man!!!

one word......AMEN

we havent really gone anywhere... one losing season?

only because mcnabb missed the year

true one year..but everyone has been doubting us so now we we are back...and I mean at the top of the NFC east and the NFC

oh ya you right, return to complete dominance

shut up, what are you talking about... argghhh (for lack of words), shut up!

nahh dont think so as the title says i wanna see the man continue his career here and one day retire here

Mcnabb has never been bad. So what you guys are saying is if he gets injured again we should let him go?
JUST SHUT UP

oops didn't mean to post my comment here, sorry justwannawinna

I never said he was bad. He's had some devastating injuries and he's not a kid anymore. The Eagles have a very talented team for at least the next few years. If he tears his knee up again this year I think they at least have to look at bringing in someone who is healthy next year. There comes a point where you have to decide is he going to be able to complete a full season and playoffs.

Donny MAC is easily top 5 QB with a weapon

so true

top 3 bro... easy top 3 with a weapon, not even a arguement with a weapon!!! i think hes top 3 PERIOD but i may get called a homer!!!

Donovan McNabb is not only a great player, but a great model. He truly conducts his lifestyle as a leader both on and off the field. He is not only the type of person you want leading a team, but also the type of person who is truly dedicated, to his team, and his city. I feel like he is the finest quarterback Philadelphia has had, and it would truly be an honor to see him retire an Eagle. Some of my great regrets were watching Reggie White, and Randall Cunningham not playing their last years as Eagles. I hope that it is different for Donovan.

justwannawinna is exactly right. he ranked equally to the likes of Tom Brady and (dare i say it) Peyton Manning when we had a weapon, by whom i will not refer to, but nonetheless, if we acquire a true no. 1 WR, Super 5 will have a dominating presence in the NFC, and the NFL for that matter. With the addition of, for example we shall say, Chad Johnson, the Eagles redzone scoring will be vastly better, along with the return of a healtny LJ Smith. My point is, with a weapon, McNabb will finally get the respect he has earned, and the Birds have a shot at winning it all.

there is no need for you to "put dare i say" in paranthesis when you say that. peytons had weapons his whole career, hes never had to throw to to the likes of charles johnson as his primary reciever, or todd pinkston as his primary reciever, or an extremely washed up antonio freeman, or james thrash or na brown or freedie mitchelle... mcnabb has thrown to those clowns and won 4 straight division titles and went to 3 straight nfc championship games. they get him a weapon he wins his 5 straight division title and 1st NFC championship, and goes on to the superbowl. manning does absolutely NOTHING without the weapons hes had his whole career in harrison, wayne and clark, stokely was just a beneficary of all that talent...

I would love to see McNabb retire as an eagle, he has taken way too much abuse over the years for stupid BS and yet he still handles himself like a true champion. I have a lot of respect for #5, not only as a player but as a person and when given the proper people around him he will easily show you he is a top QB. I mean WTF, the man has done things in this league with a group of recievers no other QB would even consider trying to play with and that says a lot about the man. I have no worries, I think this year he will put up some great numbers and boy oh boy if he gets that #1 guy, look out cause the Eagles will be the team to beat.

How many quarterbacks would make it to the NFC championship over and over with James Thrash, Freddie Mitchell and Todd Pinkston? McNabb is awesome on the field and off!!!

mcnabb is the man and i love him but if he doesnt play better this year than last, then he's got to go

Although I thought he should go this year the guy leaves it all on the field for his team and that's all you can ask. If he does have another year like last year I agree with you.

quite posibily the best post ever donovan should remain an eagle until he's done playing football

keep donnie mac!!!!!!1
