I believe we'll get a better offer! 52 overall is the starting point but the reserve is much higher according to Reid and it is going to rise until the Eagles like the offer!

I agree we do need to get more then just a second round pick, but look at some options of who else we can draft in the second round. we could add a strong CB/S Tyrell Johnson as well as a nice RB/KR as chris johnson.

A second rounder is good. I do believe that there will be another pick involved, possibly a 4th or 5th. If that is the best that is being offered, i say take it. This is a deep draft. No one in this years draft has separated themselves from the next person. Every one of these guys has flaws and needs improvement grades all over them, especially at wideout.

The eagles need a true #1 wr,not back up wide outs---package a deal on draft night,and try to get it done. If not keep lito,and draft a wr in 2nd or 3rd round.

I can't find anything that has the Eagles giving permission for a Tampa Bucs meeting,which would have be done ir be considered "tampering".

Accualy ,,what makes the most sense is,it was just a visit to Tampa.
Its all smoke on the side of the Eagles. There trying to drive up the price of Sheppard to the Saints, by treating to trade hime to the Divison rival. It will probably work too. The Saints have a much better spot in the second round than the Bucs and the Eagles would much prefer it. Lito is also a much better fit in the Saints D then learning to play cover 2 with the Bucs.

Well they say that Michael Clayton will be in that trade for Lito its a pick which i dont remember what it is and Michael Clayton and or Stoval both big big big targets in the Redzone Michael is 6'4 and only 25 yrs old and is lethal in the Redzone and in coverage and Stoval is 6'5 i dont know much about him but hey if it is any way to get a player WR wise they might not be the best but maybe a change of scenary will help us...

All I could find was Lito denying he was there to meet with the Bucs FO ?
I am looking for any other NFL site,confirming this story,besides links back to the Fox story.
So far,I have found nothing .. but others repeating the same story.

lol no i got that info from joe glazer as well but it aint not Gcobb so i rather listen to jay glazer than him... you gotta remember there will be a trade by this weekend for lito i wouldnt doubt that tampa isnt in the top list for us to trade with plus they need help in the secondary, plus we can reunite him with his butt buddy jeff garcia LOL im kidding about them being butt budies but hey he can join jeremiah trotter if he is still there lol

I did see a blurb yesterday ... saying it may me a smoke-screen for the Eagles.
they are SUPPOSED to be interested in the Saints 2nd round pick,and by sending Lito to Tampa,to see his friends ... Speculation would come,he may be dealt to Tampa ...driving-up the Saints offers?
But ... yes Jay Glazer is as reliable as anyone as NFL sources go ...

well, for most of us, this site is a place to find out stuff. so if there is a "mr. know it all" i would like to hear his opinion.

It is only tampering if Eagles don't ok it. I think Eagles and Bucs have a trade in place, so Lito met with them to talk about his contract situation. I would but at the same time wouldn't be surprised if eagles came up with Roy Williams. I could see them leading people and teams on with the bucs and all of a sudden draft day trading for Roy. That is if they will trade him.

Yeah some people think the trade could lead to trying to get Tory Holt from St. Louis and guys there is no link on that its just something going around now the truth is that there are teams interested and Tampa is that team right now it can switch up between here and tomorrow but Eagles would of Rang Litos neck if he was in Tampa Bay and they didnt know about it he just cant announce his real reasons as to him being there and neither will the eagles( thats to get litos stock numbers up) plus he has friends over there Jeff and jeremiah trotter and probably others

Well .. Joe Banner has said, there were 3 teams with significant offers for Lito.
I am sure, he is trying to the best deal for the Eagles ... with that said,,I am sure the Eagles will pump-out MIS-information to get the best deal.
It may happen in TB or one of the other 2 teamns ... what the surest thing is,,it will happen.
