Mario Williams is no Sam Bowie

Mario Williams is quietly having a solid rookie season. The guy that became an NFL punchline in April is making a big impact on Houston's 3-4 defense. His unfair treatment during the NFL Draft looks a bit foolish now. He has sacks in three consecutive games.

He's also dealing with plantar fasciitis which could shorten his season. He's still a long way away from living up to the hype, but it's good to see him playing well.

Agreed. He's certainly having more of an impact than Reggie Bush.
