yo whats up barker world this is mickey pimentel from the Kansas City chiefs leaving his first real message in the yard. since it is my first real blog post i had to make it good, so i decided to leave the yard wit a lil bit of my poetry. i wrote it from the heart so hopefully the people in the yard like it.
PAIN
THAT IS A HARSH WORD.
WE ALL RECEIVE IT SINCE BIRTH.
IT FEELS LIKE A CURSE BUT LOVES WORSE.
THEY SAY THE OPPOSITE OF LOVE IS PAIN.
IT TOUCHES YOUR SOUL AND MESS WIT YOUR BRAIN.
IT FLOW THROUGH THE BLOOD STREAM OF YOUR BODY.
IT FLOW THROUGH YOUR HEART SMOOTHLY,
IT SEEMS PERFECT.
AT THE END OF ALL THAT PAIN, TO SAY THAT I LOVED IS WORTH IT.
YOU CAN LOVE EVERYTHING IF YOU CHOOSE IT,
BUT YOU WILL RESENT IT ONCE YOU LOSE IT.
I AM BLESSED TO LOVE THE PEOPLE I HAVE KNOWN AND GROWN CLOSE.
I AM BLESSED TO HAVE A FAMILY AND A HOME.
I AM BLESSED TO HAVE FRIENDS THAT WOULD FIGHT FOR ME.
I AM BLESSED TO BE IN THE LEAGUE AND PURSUING MY DREAMS.
SO FROM THIS DAY FORWARD I WILL LET THOSE WHO I LOVE NO.
