NFL's Play 60 and Tommy

I had the opportunity to work with the NFL's Play 60 Campaign in late October. Play 60 promotes exercise and the importance of staying fit. Their main message is to exercise for at least 60 minutes every day by working out, playing outside, jumping rope, etc. Through this promotion, I met a young man named Tommy and taught a gym class with him at his school. It was a fun day and we sure did work up a sweat. Take a look at the video. Enjoy and remember to get out there and Play 60!!!!

Wow that video was crazy. It opens your eyes though!!!

wow bowe keep on impressing

Nice to see you interacting with kids and helping so many people out!!

bowe loves the kids!

Tommy was on point. No hesitation at all when you asked him who his favorite player is.

THE SHOW.

and you know this!

Thats a wonderful thing that you did. I know that kid is like the most popular right now. But the Play 60 Campaign sounds really interesting. Do they have that in other states? I'm a teacher and I know the kids at my school would love that. They have so much energy but don't get the chance to get it out a lot. They just love having visitors at the school. Keep doing your thing.

they do! it is a fun program!

you continue to impress me as not only a great football player, but a terrific human being! you have quickly escalated to my favorite player status!! a true humanitarian and a stud on the field! it is wonderful to see a celebrity use their popularity to bring joy to others, and bring attention to causes that are important! take care, dbowe!!

thank you that means a lot.

They do have it in other states, I'm outside of Pittsburgh, and Hines Ward just did the Play 60 Campaign for the Steelers.

you are on top of your game!

Yeah there are a bunch of atheletes connected to the Play 60 campaign. Good to see high profile players get involved with the community and especially to help out the kids. With for children of my own I love this kind of thing in action. My children love sports and it's players like Bowe, Ward, and others who keep then interested. Nicely done Mr. Bowe!

Man I need to learn how to type. ATHLETES...FOUR children...SEE this kind of thing, and THEM interested. Sorry Yard had to correct myself....lol

Tight picture! The promotion is fun...I know I had a good time and Tommy did too!

Hey there Mr. Bowe. It's so great to hear that you are taking part in giving back to the kids. Let me know if you'd be willing to let me interview and as a few questions about your charity work. I'm a huge sports fan. I'd love to do a write up about you on my blog. Let me know. You can email me: lovemystar21@gmail.com. :) -c

So DwayneBowe is really Dwayne Bowe.

So when will we see D-Bo on the commercials play 60? Thanks for the memories this year D-BO, Next year we will be a lot better I know it! Go Chiefs
