Niners Name Four Captains for 08 Season

The 49a€²ers players have selected four captains for this upcoming 2008 season: center Eric Heitmann by the offense, linebacker Patrick Willis by the offense, Michael Robinson by the special teams and player representative Walt Harris. The team last season had a captain at every position, but coach Mike Nolan said not all the choices were "mature enough to handle the job." He called it a one-year experiment that failed.
