R.I.P Tim Russert... 1950-2008

As a political science major i have much respect and admiration for Tim Russert and i know this has nothing to do with football but i would just like everyone to love their fathers this sunday and praise them on their very special day. Tim was a father to Luke a 22 year old Boston college graduate who unfortunately will not have his father this sunday on fathers day. Tim Russert was unarguably the best interviewer ever and was a devoted catholic, father, husband, and Buffalo sports fanatic. My heart goes out to the loved ones and family members of the Russert family. God Bless and R.I.P Tim Russert

GO BILLS, BISONS, SABRES, BANDITS AND ANY OTHER BUFFALO TEAM I MAY HAVE FORGOTTEN!!!!!

yo marko thanks for the support man... i graduated from college last year with a bachelors in political science and i watched tim russert for the past 5 years and when i heard that he passed i felt as if i lost a friend or family member. but keep it real man and you and your wife keep it up with those great posts.

hey DM, such a tragic loss to the world as a whole, and thank YOU for the kind words DM :)!!!

we always do bro, i can see you do as well.

gone but never forgotten nice post DM5lover

what a good blog and something different RIP

I am waaaay into my politcs and was devastated when they broke into the US Open to announce that Tim had died. I just sat the rest of the afternoon with my mouth open. I kept saying, "I just SAW him!" He was definitely a class act in front of the camera. And, now that we have had the chance to see an amazing retrospective of his life, obviously, behind the camera, as well. RIP to Tim (he always made you feel like you could call hm by his first name) and all the best to his family.

KatKat i obviously myself am way into politics and i also was very devastated. I have watched Tim for many years and he was a very honest hardworker who was very fair and unbiased. I am a high school teacher and now that i have off for the summer i was watching the NBC today show and his son was on this morning telling funny stories of him and his father and he was very strong so it is good to see that the family is in good spirits at this time. Thanks for the good post!!!!

I know what you mean DM5LOVER. Everytime I turn to MSNBC they are showing highlights. And it is so hard to believe he's gone. You're just sitting there watching him and then all of a sudden it hits you... he passed away. I have been out of pocket for a couple days, so I am glad to hear his son is being strong. I'm going to check out his book, as well. Thanks for the recommend. And, again, for the awesome post!

P.S. i have been glued to MSNBC since the primary election has started and now with the tragic death of Tim Russert they have been going back to high-lights of Timmy's career and its really funny and interesting. I just bought the book he wrote called "Big Russ and me" and i startd reading it... Its a really good book and it makes you have such an appreciation for him.
