The Bears had some missed opportunities as well... Griese got intercepted in the 4th which was pretty crucial. You gotta give the Bears defense credit for stopping the Packers.
For all the talks about the Bear's poor quarterbacks, I think the Bear's problems are with their offensive playbook. It lacks creativity and the passing plays are prone to interceptions. Perhaps they need a new offensive coordinator.
upjohn, you're right the Packers definitely should have won the game. Without Tillman's 2 strips, the game could have been over long before the first half ended.
Kobe, you're dead on regarding the playbook issues. Everyone figured it was just at the quarterback spot, but with no running game, an old offensive line, and a vanilla playbook the Bears were easily schemed and stopped. Looked liked offensive coordinator Ron Turner opened things up a bit and allowed the offense to utilize their talent and manage the game.
