Shaun Rogers Will Be Released by the Lions Soon: Do the Eagles Make a Move for Him?
Defensive line depth cannot be understated. Patterson and Bunkley are superstars in the making. But with the soon to be released Shaun Rogers on the market, do the Eagles make a play for him?
Imagine Rogers in the D-Line rotation for Philly! Rogers is not only a space eater, he demands double teams and at the top of his game, is still one of the most dominating and disruptive DT in the game. The two time Pro Bowler Rogers is coming off a career-high sack season (7). The addition of Rogers to the Eagles will also free up the DE particularly Trent Cole allowing him to be even more productive. Not to mention, the addition of Rogers will also allow the Eagles great group of LB's to roam free and make plays! The knock on Rogers is his endurance but with Patterson and Bunkley, Rogers' endurance issues isn't a major as it was with the Lions who had no real depth at D-Line. Patterson, Bunkley, Rogers and Cole along with that LB corp will give all offensive coordinator nightmares and challenge the '91 Eagles for the best defense EVER! 19 Comments On: "Shaun Rogers Will Be Released by the Lions Soon: Do the Eagles Make a Move for Him?"
