T.O. called the N-word on fox news

Ok, this is the first I'm hearing of this, so I'm not even sure whether the footage shown was real or doctored. A few things…

1. It was an ignorant caller, NOT Fox News Channel, that used the racial slur.

2. As soon as the caller used the n-word, he was cut off and made a fool of.

3. The chick shown here is hot (off topic; I know).

I watch Fox News on occasion, not because I like it, but because I dislike CNN. In this case, how was Fox News going to prevent a live caller from using racial slurs? It could have happened to anyone.

Second of all, the n-word is used CONSTANTLY on Howard Stern's Sirius satellite radio show, by white people, I may add. Where's the outrage? It doesn't exist. Why? Because Howard Stern (who I enjoy listening to, by the way) is a liberal democrat. Fox News tends to lean to the right and support conservative views, so they are held to a different standard. Funny how that works, isn't it?

This is a non-story. If you think for yourself, you won't be so easily lead your whole life.

Why would liberal democrats be held to some weird standard that others aren't? No one cares about Howard Stern, because he is a scumbag that got kicked off of radio and the only people who listen to him (no offense to you) are people who still think Jerry Springer is fun to watch. His show is a pornographic circus act.

Pink, the point I'm trying to make is that the n-word is the n-word. Regardless of what media outlet is guilty of having the word said on the air, the response to each individual "hate speech" or "racist" incident is dictated by what outlet dropped the ball, and what side of the political aisle they stand on.

The Fox News Channel will not be given the benefit of the doubt with the media. That's just the way it is. CNN would not receive the same amount of criticism, due to CNN and the vast majority of media outlets holding the same political agendas. It's no mistake that "Fox News" made its way into the headline, even though it was actually a caller, and not Fox News, that made the stupid comment. If it were ABC or CNN, it would have said "caller makes racist remark" or something to that effect.

As for Howard Stern, I've been listening since I graduated high school in 1992, and, outside of his ignorant political views, I find him entertaining. And he wasn't kicked off the air, he took a 500 million dollar raise to go work on Sirius. The morning ratings have been down since he left (remember David Lee Roth's show? Now that sucked).

As for Jerry Springer, isn't that show all a set-up (like pro wrestling)? Truth be told, I never watched it.

Well I know he didn't get kicked off, but I think the feeling was mutual when he left. It sounded like both parties were glad, even though the radio stations knew they were going to take the hit.. They weren't going to pay him what he wanted, and they were sick of getting fined for his stunts. I know the ratings went down, but I like to actually listen to music on the radio instead of some dickhead talking. I was SO glad when they took him off and went back to actual music on the air. Anyways that is fine what you were saying I just don't see what a person's politcal background would have to do with racism..I mean are you saying because Fox news is pro republican that they would get more critisim then a democrat? Even with a republican president, and the majority of people in the US that voted for him are republican? I am not so sure. But whatever, I don't want to talk politics that just sucks.

I damn sure don't miss the guy. He's a jerk, womanizer and a racist piece of shit. There, you have my view on it. Now, on the N word being used like that, it's not right to do it in that venue. They could have used delay tech to censor it.

It does'nt matter who said the "n" word nor their political affiliation or what network it was said on or whether any of us personally like these networks or who used to work on them, this word is derogatory, hurtful and demeaning to many people now and historically. Also, I am not at all surprised that this happened on Fox News.

Fox news is ridiculous but so is all other corporate media. It shoudl be mentioned that was not the Fox News Channel. It was a local affiliate of Fox.

Oh yeah, and Romney is a tool.

Hmmm.........I'll agree with a lot of that, but OJ?? Come on!!! He just had the best legal team ever assembled to get him off on that charge. Problem is, the Olympics just doesn't put up with that crap. As far as the Fox news thing goes.....it was totally wrong. You should not have a call-in show like that without some delay technology to get that stuff out of there before it gets aired. Wasn't right and shouldn't be right no matter what.
