The NFL welcomes the LOS ANGELES..

Los Angeles has been rumored to obtain an NFL team due to the market being the second largest in the U.S. I can't see the NFL adding 2 additional teams to balance the AFC/NFC (even though San Antonio might be the clear second choice) So, given the current landscape of the NFL, which team do you think would be the best candidate to move to LA?

Jaguars

Lions

Falcons

Bengals

Panthers

None of these names sound right, Los Angeles Lions, Panthers, Falcons, Bengals, Jaguars. Nope not at all, they should just come up with a whole new team, these teams with Los Angeles in front of them sound awful.

Panthers By far, their fans stink!

Jags.

LIONS?? lol!!!!

That is what I was going to say! lol. I don't think it is fair that California hog all the nfl teams...why not give some other states a chance...like New Mexico! Why doesn't new mexico have a team? Or Connecticut!! Give CT a chance. Besides, MA does not like having CT as a part of New England, most CTers think they are from NY. fricking snobs!

!!!!!! i never looked at it that way!!!!!!

Give Connecticut a chance...LOL!

gunna, they would change there name. Just like the Titans did. They were the Tennessee Oilers for how long???

True. Just like when the Browns bailed and became the Baltimore Ravens.

I could see them getting rid of Carolina though...

Well if you put a hispanic spin on it (where LA/LOS is the common term for "the" in spanish), the name would be more ""homie" like "LA BENGALS! or LOS BENGALS!" haha ;)

sounds like aother SOCCER team!!!!!!

the funny thing is..... here in LA, you see fans of alot of different teams, mainly the Raiders, then it trickles down from there...... 49ers,Cowgirls,Chargers,Rams, Steelers,Bears,Pats, and of course your EAGLE fans.....My point is... ever since both the raiders & rams left LA , some fans jumped on other teams and are for the most part happy were there at!! For example.. I'am a diehard EAGLES fan, Will I go to an LA football game? YES, Will I wear an EAGLES jearsy? HELL....F*%CKIN YA............

by that time I'll have my SAT-TO-GO portable hooked up with the NFL package!!!! I ai'nt missing no EAGLES GAME!!!! YA HEAR ME............................

Yeah, most of the NFL fans here on the central coast are either:
A: Raiders fans
B: Cowboys fans
C: Chargers
D: Fill in the blank (notice how the Niner fans disappeared when their team started to suck?)
E: 3 Die hard Philly fans where I work :)

And I refuse to live anywhere I can't get the NFL network or the NFL package. One of the few things I actually look fwd to each day.

same here!!!!!!

i remember hearing rumblings a few years back, mostly centered around the largely popular NFL game in mexico, that the saints would be a highly likely candidate to be moved to LA, and re-christened "Los Santos".

Ha. New Orleans aint going anywhere! They love there team. One of the greatest things ever in sports history was that first game back to the Dome. They arent going to just send any team somewhere. NO is good, atleast not horrible. How are the Chiefs not in this convo?

If they took a current NFL team my prediction would be Atlanta. They struggle now to get fans in the seats and have struggled in the past. I remember when they were in the playoffs a few years back and just barely sold out. If it were a new team trying to join LA, I would say either San Antonio like stated previously, Mexico City (they've been flirting with that idea), or maybe Las Vegas.

the Chiefs aren't in this argument because they have the best fan base of any NFL team here in KC and they just signed a deal with the city through the year 2020. NUFF said!!!

Lions and Bengals both have new stadiums (5 years old or less)... and lease obligations to fullfill with them. Jags and Panthers aren't all that far removed from being expansion teams so how would they move already?? And Arthur Blank owns the Falcons.... he also runs Home Depot which is based in ATL.... so they're not going anywhere.

Where the hell did you come up with this list?

I came up with the list according to the teams without Superbowl wins, losing franchises, and lack of fan interest. Even though the Jags are perennial contenders with the Colts, they do have the lowest merch sales in all the NFL.

And feel free to add something worth while as an "idea" if you have a better one. :)

If I had to pick one from that list I'd say Carolina.... but again they're still relatively new so they probably have an outstanding lease on their stadium.

I would add Miami and St. Louis.... but more than likely I think they'll do another expansion.

I'm also still not convinced the NFL will give them another team simply because some developer has come up with a dream plan. Two other teams have already left LA before.... why revisit it?

okay!!! why did the raiders revisit oakland???? that answers your question!!!!!

Cuz LA has always treated its football teams like crap as far as facilities go. They realized their mistake and went home.

If any of this happens I don't think it's going to happen for a while.

Sorry I forgot to add a bunch of ??????????????????????????????????'s and !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!'s

my bad

Oakland is great, friend.

Let's just move the Rams back and call it a night

They could balance it out with a team in toronto. Bills fans are PISSED, about the games up there.

I always thought it was odd to have a team in Jacksonville

What's wrong with a team in Jax.....I'm not a Jags fan, but I live here and I like going to the games andseeing the different teams that play the Jags

I just want a team here so I could tailgate in the parking lot!!!!! QUE IT UP.....& DRINK IT UP........

How bout no team at all. The NFL had two teams their before and neither did well there. Not a good idea in my opinion.

One of my favorite Raiders bumperstickers said, "We're back.....LA sucked!"
Now that's funny.

the bumpersticker should have said..."LA kicked us out cause we suck!"

Low blow, man.

they didnt suck in LA, and AL Davuis pulled em out cause he couldnt get that stadium built in Irwindale

LA did suck for the Raiders, games at the Coliseum were horrible, 2nd rate, Davis wanted a new stadium bout 15 miles down the road from downtowm and nobody in lA wanted to help with the money, same issue today

Oakland Coliseum can't be much better. We're in need of a new one up here too. I don't see that in the cards, though.
You don't think the revitilazation of downtown LA will help? I know they're doing a lot of construction around Staples Center. Maybe it will provide a trickle down effect?

it hasnt yet, staples and the new nokia theatre are awesome, best places ive been to for concerts/games

I think it will take awhile - due to the fact that the LA real estate market is in the toilet, but once things turn around a little bit and developers start seeing a profit I would think that could help get a new stadium built. Hopefully sooner than later.

LA Saints on the field, LA Angels on the diamond and LA Kings on the ice

here in SO-CAL, we have the most diverse fans in the country........ Team ,or no team in LA, it's EAGLES year round in my world!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think they do add 2 teams....remember talks about a team in Mexico...London.....The Bills may already have one foot in Toronto..If no more pro bowl in Hawaii.....A team in Hawaii?

They can have the Lions, I don't mind....

mwahaha!

LA Vikings...at least we have oceans over here and you can be a viking. Who ever heard of lake vikings?

It won't happen, sorry

Also, we actually have people of Nordic decent up here. I doubt there is much of that in SoCal

Ummm...generall speaking, blond hair and blue eyes grow on trees as do pairs of other eye catchers. Plus we have fishing here and ugh boots are popular. Given those credentials, I think the vikings would fit in well - as long as it's fake fur.

Hahaha AccuScore :) BRUTAL.

ok if they get a team then there must be an additional team in the opposing conference. and if that happens, i think the best target will be Las Vegas. The city is getting bigger every day, expanding, and their is LOTS of $$$ in the city, so they wouldn't have that slow of a start. Anyone else agree? As an Eagles fan from Philly, this would be the best situation in my opinion.

Yes, it would make a lot of money. But, I think that environment would only hinder the team. Too much distraction. Also, what does being a Philly fan have to do with your statement? Just a passing thought. You could have been a Texans fan from Alaska and your point would still have been made.

i meant that im not from Vegas, thus not being a crybaby and demanding the NFL bring a team to my hometown. i said that just to clarify i have no bias
