The Raiders are looking for a back-up QB......

Who should we go after? I hear we have contacted Trent Dilfer. Would he be the ideal mentor for Russell? What are your thoughts?

bang it here dave, CULPEPPER, is the word of the day :) !!!!!!! see about 4 pages back on my blogs LOL!!
no seriously-CULPEPPER

interesting thought process ck, I'm not sure I see the humor though........? I'm not sure he is ready for that role just yet. Last I knew he still wanted to be a starter somewhere. Let me swing by and slum for awhile, I might get a different feel on your blogs......

humor?
no, no starter for him, he's fine with back up-did u find the blog?

yeah he's bay bound, he's good with it too, did you find the blog? drop her an email on here if ya can't, but that's the word on the street dave

Culpepper had hoped to be in one of the 23 minicamps this weekend, but now his status remains on hold. Another consideration is the Raiders, who had him on the roster last year. The Raiders have been talking on and off with Trent Dilfer, who was let go by the 49ers.

can't find my blog, things move FAST on my page lol!!! but that's a hashmark from it, then i did hear that they were talking between each other & not dilfer!!

Nope, you're right, your blog moves too fast! You ought to be a sports writer! (are you moon-lighting?) No joy on the article in question, all of my latest info says he still wants to be a starter......somewhere.

Daunte Culpepper, the last, best option to serve as a veteran backup, still believes he's a starter and is a poor fit for the Packers system anyway.

Thompson refused comment on the team's talks with Culpepper, but indications are that road is all but closed.

yes i am moonlighting, it's a secret ;0 !!!!
in all seriousness dave, when all the "rumors" hit about culpepper, like i said in my email, the hashmarks were raiders & packers, were checking him out. however, if mr. culpepper thinks he will be a starter somewhere, i'm afraid he is mistaken. nature of the nfl, he's older and he's not shown starter status...know what i mean!!!

I agree with you 100%

Trent Dilfer...HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Ya see here is where I don't see the humor.....am I missing something??

no u aren't, i don't see it either, like i said negativty gets one NO where fast :) !!!!
