The class act Cowboys get Packman.....

I think this just goes to show how far down in the gutter the cowboys are willing to go to finally win a playoff game this decade. WOW what a class team. First T.O. who has screwed every team he has played on. Then Tank Johnson and now this piece of crap that should be in a prison cell for any number of reasons including his part in a man being shot and paralyzed. This is why I hate them, why I root for ANY team playing against them and why I have no respect for that organization. I do not say this as an Eagles fan but as a football fan. Come on Jerry how about some class.

How did you feel in 2005?

Rather than wait I will reply to your comments and it is pretty unlikely I'll be around for two. First of all T.O. has not been a problem for us, so it seems like that was a good investment. Secondly, Tank is in trouble for having guns in his house that were legal where and when he bought them. They were not illegal until he moved to Illinois. You can still correctly accuse him of stupidity and he paid the price for it. He was not a problem for the Bears and he isnt a problem for the Cowboys. Thirdly, you are welcome to express your opinions on Pac, but you don't know anything yet. You essentially have some rumors. I won't defend his decision making or claim he is an upstanding citizen, but he is just as entitled to a second chance as anyone else in this country and if history is any judge he will be entitled to more than two. How about you turn that high powered judgement on the Eagles and get back to all of us. I won't start listing the Eagles problems here but you know they are out there, probably better than I do.

Just be honest and admit you were a hater long before we signed T.O.. These are just your excuses to make you feel ok about all the hate you are spewing.

Second chance? How many second chances is someone entittled to. While you are at it, tell me what problems, criminally the Eagles have had. For that matter any other aside from T.O. As far as for me spewing hate..you are right in that respect. I hate to see a young talented man throw away god given talent, throw away an oppurtunity to secure a future for his family, and most of all I hate a person that would be directly involed in an incident that cost another man his ability to walk. So yes I am judgementle about him. Believe it or not I would feel the same if the Eagles picked him up. You are correct that T.O. is one thing, even Johnson's mistake can be looked over but Jones? Also it is not anyone of these players it is the group of them I have a problem with. The trend that is going on in Dallas is classless and disturbing. How does a parent tell their child to act one way when their heros act another and get rewarded for it.

how many times was he arrested?.... 1,2....correct me if I'am wrong... 6 times........how many chances does a thug need!!! " HE WAS BORN A THUG, ONCE A THUG .........ALWAYS A THUG........

As for as what?

How did you feel about the Cowboys in 2005?

I am an Eagles fan. What do you think? But my dislike was based on the favt that they were rivals. Now, my stronger feeling are based on the complete and total lack of integrity on the part of Jerry Jones. I agree with doing what ever you can to win but hiring thugs?

If you are talking about T.O., you know the two are not the same. He did not start bashing the 49ers PUBLICLY until he left. He even called Ozzie Newsome of the Ravens a racist but it was not until he was on the team. Soooo I hope this is not what you are asking about. Even a Cowboys fan should see the difference between when the Eagles took T.O. and when the Cowboys got him. And even T.O. does not compare to Johnson who is an ex-convict and Jones who has deminstrated repeatedly that not only is he a criminal he is a danger to society in general. Before you argue my last point about Jones ask your self this; Would you want he living next door to you OR would you want anyone in your family around him?

I have a next door neighbor that has had a couple of brushes with the law. He hasn't done anything to me personally. He's a good kid, but a little misguided I guess you could say. This guy just needs someone to take him under their wing and get him on the right path. It takes work instead of constantly bashing the guy.

and your comparing him to thug-man..............lol.......

Did you like the Cowboys in 2005?

The most notable difference between us is that I would not try to convince anyone that he didn't have the right to live next door to me.

Ok, while you are on your high horse, read what I said "Would you want he living next door to you OR would you want anyone in your family around him?" I did not say does he have the right or not, I asked if you would want him to. Big difference! I do not are how rightous you be, you would not want your family around a criminal element would you? That is what he is like it or not. He has proven it over and over to the point that Jeff Fisher would not even publicly acknowledge him after multiple charges.

Bigwhit you need to shut up...I'm not a Dallas fan, but I'm a Pacman fan and I don't like what you are saying. He never intended to get a guy paralyzed and he didn't pull the trigger so stop with that...and so what if he had some run ins with the law, your gonna hate him cuz of that? Thats stupid as hell.

First off your a fan of this guy? What more do I need to say. As far as telling me to shut up...Hello blog site I can have and express my opinion as I see fit. Just because you do not like it means nothing to me. I posted on here for the feed back, positive or negitive. I never said he pulled the trigger but HE CAUSED THE INCIDENT TO BEGIN WITH AND DID NOTHING TO STOP IT AND DID NOTHING TO BRING JUSTICE FOR THOSE WHO NEARLY LOST THEIR LIVE. Great guy to admire. Do you tell your kids to be just like him?

whats wrong wit Pac? He didn't intend for nobody to get shot, paralyzed, killed, whatever...all he wanted to do was make it rain a lil and get up and go.....I don't hate people because they went to a strip club or anything, and Pac has never pushed me the wrong way....but I'm not gonna go out and do what he did, but I still like him....I don't have kids, I'm 16

tc........... you might as well be a cowgirls fan!!!!!! cuz... you ain't said nottin bout ya broncos!!!!!!!

I haven't said anything about my Broncos cuz this article isn't about them, its about Pac..........plus I have nothin against the Cowboys (cowgirls...cute)

The Dallas Cowboys are truly the NFL's orphanage. They take in all of the NFL's rejects before they are tossed out on the streets. Or worse, tossed to the Canadian league

Bring us your tired and your poor, your huddles masses yearning. Gotta love it.

huddled masses....

Ya Dallas is just praying for a playoff win. truthly when was the last time Dallas won a playoff game? Pacman hahahahahahaha, ya thats a real way to put together a Super Bowl team. I thought Dallas was the American team? Seems to me there more like the team of probation. They should jump on Vick when he gets out.

Blah, blah, blah............that broken record is still playing. Will someone bump the turnstile and get it on track again?

so are those old ass sb rings most of you guys keep bringing up!!!!!!!

Maybe some day, your team will know what one feels like to wear.

Why do people hate everyone who has had a run in with the law? OK, I don't like Vick cuz what he did was disgusting, but like Pac and guys like that who just wanna have a good time and make it rain, why do people hate them?

you have to be joking.....I hope you are Joking, Hello dogfighting vs people getting cripped for life hmmmmmm. You really need to get a grip. Pleeeeeeeese tell me you are joking.

Dogfighting is horrible.......Pac wasn't tryin to get someone cripped or even thought about the idea, didn't pull a trigger either, your actin like its more of Pac's fault than the guy that actually paralyzed the man....i got a fine grip, your just goin to hard on a guy that should be given a 2nd chance

What does "make it rain" mean? Why would Pacman be any less of a worthless steaming pile than Michael Vick? That's ludicrous. They are both CRIMINALS! And have proven to be unworthy of the privlegde of being in a high paid, high profile profression. It's a matter of respecting the chances afforded you, and niether of those two, Vick or Pacman, have respect for the gifts they have been given. By that right the Commish, in my opinion has dropped the ball, because they both deserve to banned FOR LIFE from professional sports. A job like playing professional sports isn't a 9-5 to job that pays ten dollars an hour, it's a privledge and shoot be treated as such. So many people have have lowered their standards and forgotten the basic principles of morality all for the sake of entertainment, it's so disappointing.

Are you serious? You don't know what make it rain means?

Tcbailey YOU ARE A MORON. What would you say if Pacman "made it rain" and it was you or your brother that got shot and paralyzed? You are the perfect example of youth being polluted by the scum like Jones. Get your act together and stop running your mouth against people on here who are concerned about the example that CRIMINALS set for their children, children just like YOU. Open your eyes kid.

I wouldn't blame Pac cuz he wouldn't be the one who paralyzed my bro or me......i don't care who tells me this either if it was a family member or a friend, just cuz Pac gets in trouble doesn't mean i gotta hate him, he should be given a 2nd chance and i'm not gonna hate him cuz he made a few bad decisions, and to me you can't compare it to a Vick situation, the Vick thing was disgusting, but Pac didn't do somethin like that, he did not paralyzed that guy

The thing is though, I'm not gonna go out and do what Pac did, but that doesn't mean I have to hate him for what he did--2nd chance...I'm gonna be a Pac fan, but io',m not gonna do what he did

I have raised my children to make solid decisions whether I am present or not. If a known criminal moves in next door to me what would you have me do? I am no less comfortable in my home and no more worried about my kids. There are times when I have had to step in and instruct them about certain precautions with regard to some of their friendship choices and they have learned and obeyed. You don't make the point you think you are making with that question. If I was going to overreact to everyone around me my child would never go near a public school, never get near a teacher, priest, or politician. If he/she had a problem that last person they would see is a policeman. For that matter they would not associate with a group of known criminals such as the fans of the Philidelphia Eagles. For pete's sake you had to put a jail in your stadium. You ever taken your kids to a game, or is it possible and necessary to learn to live amongst people of questionable character? All of you who say that Pac has had six chances already are misrepresenting the facts. He has been punished for several terrible decisions and is about to get his second chance. No one is saying that his actions were just or that we support those actions and decisions. Several of which come down to not making the decision to leave an already escalating situation. What did all of you say about Sean Taylor? Darrent Williams? Ray Lewis? Sean Taylor not only got a fair second chance, but he has been cannonized since his death. Ray Lewis' troubles with murder have been ignored and long since forgotten. Williams never got a second chance before he was killed, but none of you were blasting him and his connections. You are merely jumping on the bandwagon and hating on a franchise that YOU ALREADY HATED on before this came up. This season when you play the Ravens I hope that the known thug Ray Lewis doesn't murder your children. People never make good on second chances so stay away from the arena, his home, and his hangouts that week.

As to your point about the Cowboys not being a class act because they have a much longer history giving players a second chance than you credit them, you are just wrong. It is admirable to give someone a second chance and if you think that the organization is ignoring behavior in favor of talent what do you have to say about Alonzo Spellman? What do you say about us cutting our starting quarterback Quincy Carter? All J.J. can do is make his best decision as to whether the player in question is really contrite and then react quickly to remove them if they are not. That is why you point is so ridiculous. The Cowboys have absolutely no risk here. We get our draft pick back if he isn't reinstated and he got NO guaranteed money so he can be cut at any time with absolutely no lasting effect whatsoever. The other players that you mentioned are working out just fine so it seems that those were good decisions on J.J's part. If you want to call the organization a classless one wait until they do something classless. If Pac is in more and more trouble and isn't cut I will join you in your outrage.

Cowboys08, I'm not arguing here, but as you brought it up, I just want to let you know that I really REALLY disliked Sean Taylor. And I absolutely HATE Ray Lewis. I wish he is murdered. People worship him, and he acts as if he is a priest. In actual fact he is a convicted CRIMINAL. People choose to ignore his role in the murder. He is a thug, lower than dogsh*t.

Does that make the Ravens classless?

Eagles fans sure no how to contradict themselves don't they?

And for the record I have to object to your statement about Ray being murdered. Let's lay off that kind of talk please.

Not much else to talk about up there in Eagle land, huh? Kind of quiet? Waiting for all of the fireworks to start tomorrow? Just biding time? Wishing you had a big punt returner or shut down corner? Beer getting warm just waiting to see if Chad, Larry, Roy, or now, Michael Clayton comes running to Philly with open arms? Go eat ya some lunch , have a cold beer and see if you can find something constructive to talk about. Outta here.

They do spend a lot of time talking about such a lousy franchise, don't they? Kind of makes you wonder, doesn't it?

Got something to say besides all the cowboys talk....... and with the first round of the 2008 draft the patriots select...... THE CAMERA MAN FROM FOX SPORTS..... he'll be a good fit, he can zoom in farther than the other guy

You eagles fans are just mad cause you cant get anybody in there to play with your crap quarterback. No receiver is coming there so you will have to pick one up in the draf. Nobody wants your lito either, just another year of suck for you.

You can obviously see that Dallas is Classless..... They are so desperate to win a playoff game that they will take whatever garbage they can get their hands on (TO, Tank Johnson, Pacman).

T.O. isn't garbage dumb@ss, he never got in troble with the law or did anything wrong in my eyes

It is amazing who rightous all of you Cowboys have become when the classless nature of your beloved owner is pointed out. All of a sudden everyone talks about second chances and live and let live and lets go hug a thug. The best is the whole "well look at the Ravens". What ever! Open your eyes and realize that this pick up is based solely on trying to win games. It is not because J.J. cares so much of the human race that he will give a job to that poor old misunderstood sole that is clearly just being picked on by the mean old police. Give me a break. The NFL is a not a right it is a priviledge. One that should require the highest moral charater because the players are so visible. If they dod not like it find another line of work. Right or wrong I expect more from a role-model than that. If you believe this is the image you want your team to have fine. But explain to the guy in the wheelchair why he desesrves his "second chance". By the way, for all of you who seem to think this guy is only on his second chance I took the time to find the following:

Pacman Jones Criminal Rap Sheet
Adam 'Pacman' Jones is the poster child for everything that is wrong with the NFL. NFL teams continue to draft thugs and convicts without regarding for their moral character or criminal record. NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is considering a proposal where NFL players will be kicked out of the league after three strikes.

Here is a rap sheet look at all of Pacman's brushes with the law since joining the NFL's Tennessee Titans:

July 13, 2005- Arrested and charged with assault and felony vandalism after a nightclub altercation. This began Pacman Jones NFL rap sheet. He already had a lengthy one from high school and college.

September 5, 2005- Adam was invited to attend the Nashville Sports Council Kickoff Luncheon. Jones went off on a verbal tirade while being told to wait for his car after the event. He then refused to tip the valet service.

October 2005- State of West Virginia filed a petition stating that Jones had not been contacting his probation officer and that he had not reported his July 2005 arrest. The judge extended the probation for just 90 days.

March 23, 2006- Charged with marijuana possession in Fayetteville, Georgia. He went on to claim that he knew how to beat the NFL's drug test.

August 25, 2006- Arrested for disorderly conduct and public intoxication after being ordered by the cops to leave a Murfreesboro night club several times. Jones claimed a woman stole his wallet. The woman claimed that Jones spat on her. The judge in the case gave Pacman six months probation and told him to stay away from the club.

October 26, 2006- Jones was issued a citation for misdemeanor assault after a female student from Tennessee State University claimed that Jones spit in her face at a Nashville night club.

Feburary 19, 2007- The facts are disputed and no charges have been made yet, but Jones was in the middle of a fight and shooting at a strip club in Las Vegas that left one man paralyzed and two more wounded. The fight broke out after Jones showered strippers on stage with $81,000 dollars. The club owner claims Jones was beating a strippers head against the bar while claiming to kill one of the club's employees.

The above time line doesn't include his sentence of one year in prison for a bar fight in Morgantown, West Virginia while in college. The sentence was later suspended in exchange for two years of probation (because he is a really good football player).

Here is a look at the options the Tennessee Titans have if they decide to cut Pacman Jones. He doesn't only need to be cut, but Jones needs to serve some time. He has been given preferential treatment his entire life because he is good at playing football.

Mike Patterson, Britt Reid, Garrett Reid, Dhani Jones and hundreds of fans every year. The only difference is that the athletes and coache's sons got preferential treatment. Clean up your own house, idiot.

You are spewing garbage at this point with no basis. It is getting silly now. Your whole argument is we should look past this documented thug behavior because everybody deserves a sixth chance, Mike Patterson, Britt Reid, Garrett Reid, Dhani Jones two of which have never whore an Eagles jersey or collected an Eagles paycheck and the fans which by the way also are not employed by the Eagles. Lets not forget the fact that you can not back you your personal attacks on my facts. Wow you got me, you w
