Deshaun Watson and his legal team officially filed an answer to 22 civil lawsuits against the Houston Texans quarterback alleging sexual misconduct.
After the majority of the cases against him had to be refiled with the reported victims' identities revealed, Watson's legal team said Monday that several women lied about their interactions with Watson, told others they wanted to get money out of him and deleted their social media.

The women allege that the three-time Pro Bowler exposed himself, touched them with his privates and/or forcibly kissed them.
Amid the allegations, Watson's sponsorship with Nike has been suspended, and Beats by Dre ended its partnership with the QB.
Texans general manager Nick Caserio said last week that the team is "respectful of the legal process" and that he wouldn't comment on the allegations against Watson.
