Denver Broncos first-year head coach Sean Payton is apparently wasting no time in roasting players who make a mistake during training camp.

Denver's ownership group includes Walmart heir Rob Walton, Walmart chairman Greg Penner and former U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, among others.
Ben DiNucci was signed by the Broncos on Sunday after the 26-year-old spent this year in the XFL. DiNucci finished the recently completed XFL season as the league's passing leader with 2,671 yards while adding 20 touchdowns over 10 games.
He was selected by the Dallas Cowboys in the seventh round of the 2020 NFL Draft and played his only three NFL games that season, making one start.
Denver's backup from last season (Brett Rypien) joined the Los Angeles Rams this offseason, leading the team to bring in Jarrett Stidham to serve as second in command. DiNucci could battle with Tennessee and Washington St. product Jarrett Guarantano (who went undrafted in 2022) for a spot on the Broncos' active roster in the fall.
