The Cleveland Browns open their home schedule on Sunday when the New York Jets make a visit to FirstEnergy Stadium.
They will be greeted by a new logo at midfield that will feature a giant Brownie The Elf logo.
It is apparently something the people were asking for in Cleveland.

Just look at it, indeed.
Brownie The Elf is one of the Browns' official mascots, and now he will be there for everybody to see in the middle of the field during every Browns home game this season. Give the team credit for doing something beyond just a simple helmet logo or an NFL shield logo, and if the fans like it, so be it.
The Browns were Week 1 winners on the road, beating the Carolina Panthers -- and former quarterback Baker Mayfield -- in a 26-24 thriller that featured a late, game-winning field goal from rookie kicker Cade York.
