2023 was a great year for former Penn State QB Sean Clifford.

On Jan. 2, Clifford played his last college game, and it ended up being one of his best.

He completed 16 of 21 passes for 279 yards, two touchdowns an no interceptions in Penn State’s Rose Bowl win over Utah.

More than three months later, the Packers drafted Clifford in the fifth round. In Green Bay’s first regular-season game, Clifford made his NFL debut.

In its most recent game, played New Year’s Eve Clifford completed his first NFL pass. Now, 2024 is here, and the year is off to a great start for Clifford.

He announced via Instagram Saturday morning that he’s now engaged to Fiancé Juliana Alessandroni, who also went to Penn State. Clifford wrote in his Instagram post that “In a world where everything moves at lightning speed, I found a love that makes time stand still.”

“I asked the most incredible woman I know to marry me,” Clifford wrote, “and she said YES! Grateful doesn’t even begin to cover it. Here’s to the countless memories to come.”

Among the comments congratulating Clifford and Alessandroni were those of former Penn State DE and teammate Chop Robinson (), New York Giants QB Tommy DeVito, former Penn State tight end and current Pittsburgh Steeler Pat Freiermuth, Clifford’s predecessor as Penn State’s QB, Trace McSorley (who got married in 2022), former Penn State WR Jahan Dotson (YEEE YEEE  !!!!), former Penn State QB Daryll Clark and Penn State’s official Instagram account.

The Instagram post announcing Clifford and Alessandroni’s engagement did not mention when the wedding would be. But whenever it is, it’s a good bet that “Zombie Nation” will be played.
