FSU marching band offers to help Chiefs do War Chant during Super Bowl LIV
Glenn Beil-USA TODAY Sports

With the Kansas City Chiefs traveling to Miami for Super Bowl LIV, the FSU marching band has offered to make a short trip to help them do the War Chant.

After the Chiefs punched their ticket to the Super Bowl to face the San Francisco 49ers, the Marching Chiefs tweeted at the Chiefs that “if you want the War Chant done right we’re available and just a couple hours up the road.”

Given how hot the tickets are for this game, we’re guessing this would be a big no from the Chiefs.

Though, it was tongue-in-cheek message if ever there was one, admits David Plack, the director of athletic bands and co-director of the Marching Chiefs: “Just my tongue in cheek way of saying we’re the originators and that no one does it better,” Plack said, per the Tallahassee Democrat.
