With Carson Wentz now in Indianapolis, Jalen Hurts is presumed to be the Philadelphia Eagles' starting quarterback in 2021. However, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni isn't ready to pass the torch to Hurts just yet.
Sirianni said Wednesday that it's too early to name a starter after just two days of the offseason program, according to NFL Network's Andrew Siciliano.

"To name a starter at this particular time... we've been working with these guys for two days."
Sirianni says he wants competition at every position.
The only other quarterback currently on Philadelphia's roster is veteran Joe Flacco, who shouldn't be much of a competition for Hurts.
The Alabama and Oklahoma product was named Philadelphia's starter last season amid Wentz's struggles. He didn't prove that he could be the team's quarterback of the future, though, completing just 52% of his passes for 1,061 yards and six touchdowns against four interceptions.
However, he is expected to be the favorite to land the starting position regardless. Unless, of course, the Eagles select one of the top quarterbacks in the 2021 draft.
