The NFL's Week 5 edition of "Thursday Night Football" featuring the Denver Broncos and Indianapolis Colts is fast approaching. The league is reportedly looking to have the investigation into whether Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa should've been allowed to reenter the team's Week 3 contest while displaying concussion-related symptoms wrapped up before kickoff.

The NFL wants to get it done before Colts-Broncos kickoff -- still hurdles to cross before it's resolved but league is pushing
The Broncos and Colts are scheduled to begin Week 5 action at 8:15 p.m. ET.
It was reported Tuesday that Tagovailoa was meeting with NFL and NFLPA representatives. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero further reported Tuesday that the hope was to conclude the investigation "within the week."
The left-handed 24-year-old is currently in the concussion protocol and has already been ruled out for the Dolphins' Week 5 game against the New York Jets.
