New Orleans Saints cornerback Marshon Lattimore will be a game-time decision for Sunday's matchup against the Carolina Panthers as he continues to deal with a thumb injury, head coach Sean Payton said Friday, according to Nick Underhill of NewOrleans.Football.

Lattimore suffered the injury during the Saints' 38-3 Week 1 win over the Green Bay Packers. He was considered week-to-week before undergoing surgery.
The 25-year-old had three tackles and one pass defensed in the season opener.
Last season, Lattimore earned his third Pro Bowl selection after finishing with 59 tackles, 11 pass breakups and two interceptions. The Saints rewarded him by signing him to a five-year, $97.6 million extension earlier this month.
If Lattimore is unable to play, Ken Crawley, Desmond Trufant and Paulson Adebo will be tasked with stopping the likes of DJ Moore, Robby Anderson and Terrace Marshall.
